Ordered for safety with our pool. Quality is good and sturdy. Attachment to pole was easy. Glad we have it but hope to never have to use it.

Love it… very Sturdy and get the job done

Arrives oddly wrapped but then it's also an odd shape. Just glad it didn't get liat with the way it looks. Unwrapping was a bit of a pain. Once opened I thought it was odd to see only 1 bolt 🔩 and not 2 for the 2 holes. This was quickly explained when I installed it on our pole as only 1 of thr two holes lined up. In my case I could use either hole as they fit but opted for the hole that left the smallest gap between the top of my pole and the top of the attachment portion of the hooks pole. After screwing the bolt in, it does have the slightest play and wiggle between the pole and hook. I would think this is expected because you do need some spacing to allow the two to slide together otherwise it would be a pain to install. It's a really nice design. The width is wide enough to fit the average torso. It has a nice curve with a slightly bent tip. The bent tip is a nice touch as it would guide the pole under the torso better that the straight curved tip which would poke the torso. Hope you follow what I mean. We got this as a way to allow anyone to quickly help or offer support if needed. The last thing we want is grandma to jump in to help and find herself needing help. All in all I'd recommend having one of these to shave second off from helping. We use it on a dedicated pole of its own thst sits on the fence of thr long side of the pool near the staircase for quick access.

I liked this item. I haven’t had to use it! But we have used it to teach swimming lessons drill. I recommend this item. It is very sturdy, and it’s worth the money.

The rescue hook is very sturdy but light weight so if you need to extend pole a great distance, it is not too heavy. It has standard attachment mechanism, and works with any standard pole. I am very happy with the hook.

I ordered this, it arrived quickly like most things on Amazon do. Except, it didn't have the hardware to attach it to a pole. Initially I thought maybe I missed something and it wasn't supposed to. After seing other reviews with the screw I contacted slimline. And they immediately sent out what I needed! Exceptional customer service, and I will continue to order slimline products.
