Texas flag 3x5 heavy duty

I bought this 4x6 Star Spangled Flag August 2015, so it's been up a year and besides some slight fading now, it's still looking good. No fraying yet ;). At the exact same time I bought and put up a Valley Forge flag (we live on ranch and since I buy so many flags I wanted to see which one would last me the longest.) The Valley Forge one is fraying badly on the ends now and I am going to replace it with a Star Spangled one since the Texas one held up better. They both didn't separate from the rivets, which is what you will have right away with a $20 flag. I had already tried the Annin against the Valley Forge and the Valley Forge lasted longer than that one, so this Star Spangled one is better than both of those. It's a really BIG deal that a flag can go through the WIND, storms, heat, cold, floods, etc... we've had here in Texas this year. So I'm really recommending this flag.

Seems to be well made, no hanging threads, we'll see what it looks like after a year in the TX sun, but for now, pleased with quality. Update - June 15 of 2017, final retired it. Just too tatterted tp fly. So there we are, almost two years in a lightly windy, but full on Texas heat and UV area. Fading wasnt too bad, so good marks there, but the edges or edge stitching could use some work. Then again this is printed poly, not sewn hemp/cotton/brass and the price reflects this. Hopefully this helps. Edit as of 11/18/17 - It has started to fray in the way that synthetic flags do, little angel hair strands kind of everywhere, but I cut them off every now and then and it look fine. Not going to change my original 5 stars. Texas is hard on any fabric used outside 24/7. I am still happy with my purchase.

Wasn’t able to use because, It was an American flag in a Texas flag pkg. So finishing up Christmas & will reorder a 3x5 Texas flag. Have a four star b/c wasn’t what I ordered.

For years I have purchased my flags from one of the "big box stores". They were not inexpensive, but the quality wasn't great. I was lucky if they lasted a year. Recently I purchased a Star Spangled Flags, Texas flag. It was sold by EverSun Products. It is a beautiful, well made flag. As pleased as I am with the quality of thd flag, I am even more impressed with the quality of the service I have received from EverSun Products. I received a email from the president of the company, thanking me for my purchase and checking to see if I was satisfied with it. I received a second email from the president, thanking me for my feedback. I might add that these were not "canned" notes, but personal. EverSun has won me over as a loyal customer and I'm purchasing an American flag from them as well. Thank you to a company that still understands and provides good old fashioned customer service!

One can't have just any flag in Texas. The summer days are long and the sun is intense. They would turn cotton flags into lint in a few weeks. My Texas flag from Star Spangled Flags looks like it's up to the job, however. It's made of heavy-duty nylon fabric and the stitching looks like it will last. The owner of the company replied to an email with a discount code on future purchases, and gave me a simple way to eliminate the fold marks before hanging it. A great product and a seller that takes pride in its work (something we Texans value) -- you can't do better than that.
