AEGIS Series for LG Optimus L5 - Retail Packaging - Black

The case itself is near perfect, with covers for the ports that provide protection from dust and water, and a combination of plastic and silicon that keep it safe in case it is dropped etc. The only problem--and the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars--was the screen cover. Read the directions carefully, and maybe look up online how to apply it correctly before putting it on (picture directions only are confusing!). And the cloth that was supposed to clean the screen before I applied the cover actually left lint on the front of my phone that is now stuck on the cover itself.

Although I own the LG Optimus Extreme, I purchased the Trident Case originally designed for the LG Optimus L5 since the cases for the Extreme are few and far between. I was not disappointed and would recommend the Trident Case for owners of the LG Optimus Extreme given the USB port, volume control, camera, and microphone are all in the same place. So, if you like these designs and the price, this case should do a good job of protecting your cell phone.

This case met my expectations and then some. It fits the phone near perfect. The screen saver really wasn't all that though, but then again I didn't buy it for the screen saver, so didn't knock a star off for that. Knocked a star off as the shipping was pretty goofy. This thing shipped from less than 150 miles from my house and took close to a week to get here. Definitely recommend the case to anyone looking to save some money over an otter box.

My boyfriend does construction and i bought this for his phone. This case has saved his phone from being dropped on wet concrete, mud and dirt. Not to mention numerous other construction accidents. IT DOES NOT MAKE THE PHONE INDESTRUCTABLE! But it does help. I only gave it four stars because at times the power button gets stuck under the case and the entire case has to be removed to power down and then restarted.

I wish I would of read the full review before I bought this. I didn't know it would come with a screen protector. and I didn't know it would be such a good one!! I normally have a hard time getting these on w/o the bubbles! I had absolutely no problem putting this one on, no bubbles at all!! I wish I wouldn't of bought a 6 pack of protectors for no reason!( well atleast I have plenty of spares.)as for the case, I like it! not to big at all. ( I had an old case that was very hard plastic, it was slimmer but didn't protect anything)this one feels like it would take a true drop and have no problems.( I hope), the only negatives would be that the case is a little slick feeling( not to bad) and that I keep hitting the power button by accident( im sure I will get used to that, actually I like how easy it is to hit all the other buttons!!) all in all a VERY good case.

This is an okay case. I liked the idea of it more than the actual product. The combination of harder plastic and softer rubber seemed like a good idea, but I found it just made the case a little awkward to hold on to and it wasn't the easiest case to fit onto the phone either. The little rubber things that cover the jacks are also a good idea, but don't sit flush or hold in very well, so they almost always were half out and getting caught on things.

The plug covering the charging position seems weak but like the overall of the cover. The hard plastic covering the soft rubber has a nice appeal. Feels good in my hand and pocket. Was easy to install and fits tight to the phone. This is my first and only cover and so I might not be the best judge but have had it on for about 3 weeks and no problems as of yet.

Not even a mark on the rubber corner that it dropped on.good priceConsscreen protector is a pain like it usually isthe rubber piece that protects the charging cable area is now slightly ajar at all times, which causes it to get caught on things. If it was more like the piece that protects the headphones, then that would be perfect.Overall, 10/10, would immediately buy again, and would recommend it to everyone that I come across that has an L5 and doesn't have a case yet.
