Honestly? I hope to never lead to use this at work, or at all. HOWEVER, looks great. Very compact. Fits well in my med kit. Again I do hope I never have to use this kit.

I am a teacher and one of our SROs discussed that a bleed control pack can do no good if it is two halls over. I checked this one with the school nurse and she said this is exactly what they can legally have. My wife is also a teacher and I got each of us one!

I bought this kit now that I am carrying a firearm, and I added more to the kit, more guaze and an israeli compression bandages and store all of it into a .50 cal. ammo can in my trunk. You never know what may happen in a life or death situation, and even for vehicle accidents this kit would come in handly.

I got this set because I have a loved one that is always working with saws and other dangerous tools and, it makes me worry. This is a great set of bleeding control supplies. This kit includes a tourniquet that is adjustable and durable. The Israeli pressure bandage is wrapped and sterile, compression gauze that are a decent size , a mylar blanket to help prevent hypothermia with blood loss or shock, shear that are easy to handle and cut through clothes, gloves to prevent introducing bacteria into a wound and, keep the wearer protected from body fluids, a permanent marker to date the dressing and write down vitals and 3 antiseptic wipes to clean skin. I do wish this set came with a nice carrying case to keep everything together but, other than at, this set is wonderful!

Not sure how to put this but this is one of those kits that I hope and pray that I will not have to use on anyone. It's definitely a must have to keep in my first aid tool box or cabinet, just the re-assurance knowing that it's there in case of emergency is somewhat of a relief. To be honest, this is my very first time ever seeing a real life tourniquet, I mean I have seen it on TV and movies but never first hand. Needless to say, I am curious to see how it works so I will be at the very least mentally prepared (I hope) in case I need to use it on someone. Otherwise, it will not be as effective or that helpful. Basically, it's just like a regular heavy duty velcro strap with a really good strong metal buckle and windlass clip designed for a one handed use. The inner belt or layer of this velcro strap is a very strong and durable cloth like material that loops through the center of the metal or iron rod located at the windlass clip used for further tightening the tourniquet just by simply turning the iron rod clockwise or anti-clockwise to wring in the cloth. This iron rod, once tighten can be strapped into the windlass clip by a white velcro strap with the word TIME written on and space for you to mark the time of used on for medical purposes. Very impressive to see first hand, I have to admit. Also in the package is an emergency blanket, emergency bandages, shear, gloves, alcohol wipes, permanent marker, and two compressed gauzes that can be used to quickly absorb blood and control hemorrhage. Pretty much everything you need to stop bleeding in case of emergency is included in this package, and like I said before, lets hope we will not have to use it. Other than that, it's definitely a must have.
