18V ONE+ Cordless Lawnmower and Grass Trimmer Twin Kit (1 x 4.0Ah)

This is an inital review having used these 3 times and I'll update this review once I've used them for the whole summer.......I was sceptical of a cordless mower and strimmer after using a petrol mower at a previous house with a much larger garden but I was pleasantly surprised! The power is more than I expected and the strimmer is fantastic! The handle turns a full 180° smoothly to make strimming edges of pavement an easy job!Both the mower and strimmer are set up in minutes. The mower has 5 height settings with a single handle, only downside here is the mower is so light it means holding it down to change heights as it wants to lift off the ground, but not a problem at all. The lowest setting leaves your lawn looking beautiful! The folding box and handle makes is extremely compact and easy to store in my small shed, simply pop the bag on top of the mower and fold the handle over the top, simple and tidy.Mower is a delight to use, glides over the grass and light and easy to turn. I genuinely look forward to cutting the grass!

It only comes with one battery. I have two small lawns and using the battery on the ower and strimmer it just gets around them both. I have to buy an extra battery so don't save buying both together. The mower is fairly quiet but cuts the grass well. I had to set it on a low setting just to touch the grass. The strimmer is not too heavy and a good one compared to others at similar price. Both of them make it quicker to do the lawn as they are cordless.

I bought this lawnmower as I already had Ryobi tools and batteries and the carburettor in my petrol mower packed up for the second time. It has exceeded my expectations so far. Has worked through long grass on the first cut and cuts the lawn well. If you’ve got a medium sized lawn and want a hassle free experience Inwould recommend. Strimmer is an added bonus

The lawn mower and edger are fantastic .they work like a dream. You can use both on the same battery before you need to recharge. Great value for money. Fast delivery.

Ryobi has let itself down.Nice colour scheme and well engineered products but supplying a battery without any details of how long it will run before recharging is a disservice to the customer and damages Ryobi. I have two small lawns measuring 6 metres x 12 metres (72 sq metres) I was unable to complete cutting either lawn without twice stopping for nearly an hour to recharge the battery. It means that to cut both my small lawns with charging intervals took me from 10.30am to 4.30pm instead of the 60 minutes it takes the cut the same area with a corded mower.Disappointed and feeling tricked. Ryobi Knew about the shortcomings of its battery which why there was no mention of how long it would taken to change the battery and how long it would run for. and yet there was no mention of these important facts made know to buyers prior to purchase.Sadly, I must return the product and purchase a corded Spear and Jackson mower a reliable brand I have previously used.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly it’s a great little mower. I’ve owned this for two years and not a single problem. I can also use the batter as part of my wider ecosystem of RYOBI tools. I have written a full review and taken a longer video. Unfortunately the full video is too big for here.

Not overly impressed after first use. Battery didnt last at all so we were unable to complete the garden (which is only 16sqm). We had to let the battery cool down before we charged it again so were aiming to do it today as it was too late to do it yesterday. What a shame its now raining and we have a half completed garden. Difficult to get the battery out, difficult to change the height of the mower and the instructions are awful. I will have to go online to see if I can get words instead of meaningless pictures. It doesnt seem to be putting the cuttings in the box and it collects underneath instead, however our grass was quite long so i will reserve judgement until its 2nd cut when the grass is lower (new lawn). It does however cut very nicely, does cut to the edges, is quiet and it looks good. Not used the strimmer yet.

I was pleased with my lawnmower and strimmer, but had difficulty reading the instructions as they were in small print. I am eight years old and could not follow the instructions very well. Especially the lawnmower did not pick up the grass till my grandson looked it up for me and had to remove part underneath I am pleased with it but could do with two batteries with it. Thank you
