Great unit and easy install
This is my third Chinese head unit. My previous two were OK, they just became outdated and I wanted something more compatible with my iPhone then I had previously. The install was routine for these types of units and I did not encounter any difficulties with this one. There are less setup options available than my previous units, but I'm not complaining. This unit had all the settings I needed. Support sent me the latest update along with a vehicle branded startup screen for my Dodge. Nice touch. I installed this unit the day before I took a 4 day trip from Vero Beach FL to Charleston SC. I have to say this unit made the trip much better than its predecessors. The Apple Car Play made it so easy to use the GPS, music, and phone simultaneously. Making it very easy to function while driving. Touchscreens are always iffy for me, but this one seemed to work flawlessly. I did have a little trouble with the volume adjustment as the side keys are small on the touchscreen and not always easy to tap while in a moving car, but generally they were OK. I guess I always have the remote if I need it. The sound quality is good, not great, but good enough if you adjust the EQ. I gave it a 5 for sound because it's as good as you can expect for this kind of cash. The rear camera picture is really nice, but is subject to the limitation of your camera. I have a very good camera and this unit was able to let me see that. As it has a remote mic connection on the back, I also ordered a lapel mic to use with it. Good choice on my part. I highly recommend you do so if you have issues with car noise and being heard by others. Installing the external mic greatly improved my conversation quality. Overall I am very happy with this unit and support was very prompt. Good job by them. No complaints there. I have not experienced any quality issues with this unit thus far. UPDATE 3 months later. I have settled in with all the settings exactly how I like them and I’ve had plenty of time to get to know my unit. My opinion hasn’t changed. I’m really happy with this unit. The remote has proven to be very helpful in using my unit while driving. I find it much easier to use the remote for left navigation ( such as volume and play/pause) as I can keep my eyes on the road without trying to tap a tiny target with my finger. Much safer and better results. It’s a small thing, but then, it’s really not. As I continued to mess with the EQ I was able to get the sound exactly where I like it. So I’m very happy with that. I also like to listen to my progressive rock (think SAGA, Rush, Pink Floyd) very load. I’ve discovered that the noise ratio at high volumes is quite acceptable. My speakers can handle it, so even at full volume the distortion is minimal enough that you can’t hear it over the road noise. Sweet. As the Doobie Brothers once sang…I’ll be ‘rockin’ down the highway’. One last note: this unit has been extremely reliable thus far. No complaints at all.

Works Great!
I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical because it is a 7" touchscreen with a lot of promoted features but only ~$130. I got the unit in and all the instructions were clear and the wiring harness were clearly marked. The instruction booklet was a huge help, especially with the backup camera that it came with. I thought the camera was going to be bogus too but it turned out to look really clear. The description said you could customize your screen but I couldn't figure out how so I emailed the email address on the instruction card and asked. Turns out, you can't exactly do it yourself but the customer service was outstanding. They were quick to get back to me and said that if I'll send the pics I want (up to 4) then they will set it up for me. They even asked what startup logo I wanted. I didn't have any logos to send but said anything 'Jeep' would be great. A day later they sent me a file to put on a flash drive and load into the head unit for an update. Easy instructions, took less than 5 mins. Now I have 4 custom wallpapers and a cool Jeep logo on startup. There are 3 others they sent for that too but I haven't cycled through them yet because I really like the first one. It took a couple steps to do this, but was super easy and the company was very helpful. Even just searching Jeep logos for me instead of me sending was an impressive extra they did for me. For the stereo head unit, I'm pretty impressed so far. I replaced a pretty crappy one but my biggest thing for a new unit was to have an equalizer instead of those preset "Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classical, etc". There is a wide range of settings which does a lot in this Jeep. For me, its hard to get some good sound in this 2001 Jeep Wrangler with the speakers how they are set. This was a great addition. Down side, it really made me see how sucky my speakers really are because the stereo puts out a good amount of watts. Carplay works great. You have to plug your phone into the unit but still, looks great. The bluetooth works great too. My last unit took FOREVER to connect. This one picks up signal quick once you've set it up once. I've used the bluetooth for phone calls and pandora so far and no issues at all. I actually bought two of these by mistake (didn't pay attention to the quantity), but I think I'm going to go ahead and change out my wife's stereo in her 2017 Ford Expedition. Her screen is going out and this turned out great for my Jeep. I'm sure there are a lot better units out there that you'll pay top dollar for the name like Alpine or Pioneer, but this one is right up in my opinion but more than half the cost. I had a video I was going to upload but I can't get it to transfer from my iPhone.

Made it 33 days... just long enough not to return!
Read if you are curious, but main point, started not working right 3 days after 30 day return window and now I am out $160. Made in china, customer service in china, nothing I can do!! Was pleasantly surprised out of the box. Sounded fine, nothing special, ease of use nothing special but not bad and apple carplay which was a main reason for this model was great! Customer service is not US based nor is it a phone. You have to use facebook, send a message, and really get a response next day because it is nighttime over there. No worries, not ideal but I worked through. This is a weekend work truck i put it in, didn't want anything special or high end so I was, again, perfectly happy with the product... 3 DAYS past 30 day return window it started going spastic! First time it happened, all radio stations are gone, carplay no longer works, and for whatever reason the EQ goes flat (sounds TERRIBLE) and only out of front passenger speaker. So after being frustrated, I calm down and think, maybe a glitch, it happens, lets redo the settings and see if it still works. Go to sound/EQ settings, put it back to center sound, change EQ and we are back to good sound again. Huh... weird but alright, at least it still works. Phone is still connected via bluetooth, but carplay still won't work! Same phone, same cord, no changes, just won't work! Put it in reverse, camera is upside down, so I had to change that setting back. Next time I get in car, still no car play but rest of setting still good. Again weird but, I guess I'll make do even though I am upset about it as carplay was a factor for getting this model. Well, since then, it has reverted settings two more times! Obviously something wrong. Its not a battery loss issue and again, my phone reconnects each time, it's just scrambling the settings!?!? Now I am 7 days over 30, apparently nothing I can do and am out $160. Going to get a name brand, from a store, where if I have an issue after 30 days I can explain to a manager and they can make the call to take care of the customer!

Very good for this price point.
I installed this media player head unit in my 2008 Jeep Commander. The install was pretty straight forward. I highly recommend getting the proper wiring harness to match your vehicle. It takes a little bit of time to get it all wired up but once your beyond the wiring the installation was simple. The unit does exactly what it says. The touchscreen is quite responsive. I deducted a star (really should only be a half star) as I wish this unit had the volume knob. I have large fingers and trying to get my finger properly placed on the volume up (or down) is a challenge while driving. Not a deal breaker but hopefully this is helpful for the larger guys/gals. Apple CarPlay is wired so you have to have the proper cord to connect it. Once connected, Apple CarPlay is an amazing addition to the driving experience. They do offer a wireless CarPlay model if you’re willing to spend approx $200 more. There is a 16 band equalizer that allows you to properly tune your unit to your liking. The bands are quite sensitive so adjusting each frequency could cause a bit of distortion (adjust with caution.) I’ll admit I was skeptical at first. However, after reading the reviews and watching a few youtube videos I felt comfortable making the purchase. I’m glad I did! Overall the unit is great for the price. It didn’t hurt that the seller offered a $40 seller’s coupon to purchase the unit which brought my price down to $109. I would completely suggest this unit to my family and friends.

Here's my 2 cents...
So I got this radio for my truck because it had Android Auto and I wanted that, specifically for Maps. Photos made it look like a nice enough radio, I decided to give it a try. Here's what I can say so far (I've only had it a couple of days now) So far, So good! The display is very nice, sleek and responsive. I even followed the instructions in the box, that told me how to get custom wallpapers and bootup screens. I did it, and within an hour had my firmware. Flashing was very easy. Now my radio looks like it came with the truck! Impressive. The radio has a MASSIVE EQ section to dial in your sound. And I mean MASSIVE. Like 17 bands! Once I got mine dialed in, and it didn't take long, it sounds incredible through my stock speakers. Especially at this price point! Very shocked, and very impressed! The bluetooth connectivity is very easy out of the box, and the phone calls sound great. I asked my wife if she heard me clearly when I called her, and she said it was really clear and full. Great. I love that, didn't have to hook up an external mic. Yay. The Android Auto connectivity, is pretty nice. I'm gonna be honest here, I'm not that familiar with that aspect yet, so I have learning to do myself on this portion of the features, but what I've seen so far, I can absolutely work with. Love having maps on my display, vs having to keep looking down at my phone, or even having to tap it to wake it up. The less the eyes are off the road, the better. Backup camera... Can't speak to that as of yet, because I didn't hook it up. Was in a bit of a hurry to get the radio in and ready for our weekend camping trip. It comes with the camera in the box, and I'll update this review once I get it hooked up. When I put my truck in reverse, the camera screen pops up, but let's me know there's no camera available. So 50/50 on that as of this review. lol Overall, right now, I'm very pleased with this little radio, and plan to put one in the wife's car as well. I can't speak to longevity, but at this very moment, I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

You get what you pay for
I’ve given it a month to make sure it’s an accurate review. It was pretty easy to install and get everything out together. I have a Nissan Sentra so I also had to purchase a wiring harness for my car specifically & had to get an antenna adapter. The radio isn’t awful! The screen is nice and pretty quick at responses. My apple car play works well as well! The sound quality is not the worst thing ever but it’s not great. Again, you get that with cheaper radio systems. The part that has caused my lower star rating is the fact that my bluetooth does not work what so ever. The moment anything tries to connect to my radio with Bluetooth, it makes a loud noise and hard resets the system constantly. We even double checked to make sure there wasn’t anything wired incorrectly but everything on my end was done correctly. No idea why it does it but it’s really frustrating since that’s the entire reason I bought this radio. Another annoying thing is, if you have an android, don’t get this. You have to download some weird app and it wants access to anything and everything on your phone which I do not trust. So you get your pros and cons with this system. I would have returned it having the Bluetooth issues but I had already soldered the wires together & had it fully installed.

GREAT headunit for the Price!
I had this head unit installed in my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. I had a pretty expensive Insane Audio head unit it that was previously installed but it only supported Android and I have an Iphone so it didn't support blue tooth when talking or some other features so I wanted to replace it with something IOS supported. I did order a wiring harness that supported my vehicle because I have a system in my jeep. The guy that did the install said that it was pretty easy to install with no difficulties. The only complaint that I would have which isn't much of a complaint is that I wish this unit had the volume knob. Trying to adjust the volume up (or down) is a challenge while driving. After reading other reviews I noticed that I could contact customer support to get my personal pics added and a custom logo for my Jeep. I emailed them, sent them 2 pics and asked for the jeep logo. They sent the file back to me Asap along with the latest software upgrade. Downloading the files into my head unit was very simple. The unit I bought came with a back up camera that has a crystal clear screen, a manual equalizer so that I can adjust my sound system, Apple car play, which I love for my GPS, Touchscreen which works great without having to press it with authority. Since the head unit doesn't have a volume knob, I do LOVE the remote, it allows me to be able to get the volume down or up quicker than using the touchscreen. I will be ordering a lapel mic bc people are having a hard time hearing me but that is bc I have a soft top of my jeep and loud rock climbing tires so tire noise along with wind noise is drowning me out which has nothing to do with the head unit of course. As far as the product is concerned, you can’t beat the quality of the touch screen convenience for an affordable price. I bought this unit around Thanksgiving and paid $99 with the coupon. It’s functional and easy to use, I am impressed with the clear view and quality of the product over all. No complaints so far, would def recommend to others.

good for the price and good customer service via email
Overall I am happy with this purchase. I waited until the firmware update to see if it resolved a few issues I had with the product, one of which it did. One of the reasons I settled on this unit was that someone had previously reviewed the unit and included pictures of it in his truck, which is pretty much the same truck I was putting it in, and it fit nicely without additional trim pieces. Installation isn't a piece of cake, but that's mostly unavoidable because it took awhile to sort out the wiring from the oem plug and to modify the included brackets to fit my situation, then to get it flush and centered nicely in the dash. Pros: works well, connected to android phone easily (Blue tooth and android auto), easy to navigate through menus and I emailed customer service as is recommended in the packaging, to get the firmware updates and a GMC logo boot screen. The next day they emailed me back with the file links and easy to follow instructions. after the update, it did fix that I was unable to be in any android auto apps (like maps) and also listen to the radio. The only music that was available while in AA mode was through whatever music app was on the phone. Cons: My main issue is the phone call quality either in blue tooth mode or AA mode. it's very difficult to hear the conversation clearly without the volume up quite a bit higher than it would be while listening to music or maps. I was hoping the firmware might fix this, but it didn't. People have said they can hear me fairly well, but not so much on my end. Also, I didn't think I would care, but not having an actual volume knob is sort of a pain. I gave four out of five stars because of the phone call thing, otherwise this would have been a five star review. Update: after having and using the unit for a couple weeks, I've changed my review to 5 stars. This is because the call clarity has improved for some unknown reason. I can't fault them for not having a volume knob as I knew that going in. If it had one though, I'd give it 6 stars.
