Buffalo Games - I Dissent

Initially played this with neighbors and loved that two families could all play together - 9-yr-olds to 49 yr-olds. It's easy to learn and a very clever game bc of the way you can 'win' but defeat the group, which is a great lesson to see. The topics you debate are so fun it's easy for anyone to form an argument and immediately see multiple sides to the same argument. My 9-yr-old wants to borrow it to play w/ friends. I actually used it as an ice-breaker w/ work - all online playing by texting one person their 'card' but then showing everyone the argument. What I LOVED was that it sets a group up to argue civilly and logically and have healthy dialogue around a group. Highly recommend this game!

on opening the parcel found that the game box had been torn and then covered with a clear plastic sheet repair prior to packaging and posting, this makes this unsuitable as a present. a undamaged box replacement is required ASAP Regards john j

We love board games and card games. We have a monthly game night with two other couples and are always on the hunt for a game for 6 adults. This was great! We laughed a lot and learned a lot about each other (even though some of us have known each other our whole lives). For example, I discovered my brother puts on his socks before his pants. Weirdo. Great game, definitely recommend.

This doesn't even need to be played in it's game form. We just randomly pull cards & have fun debating the subjects after dinner. If you like to argue/debate/have a strong opinion this is the game for you! Hoping they make booster packs of cards eventually. Good for older kids & up and definitely would hone critical thinking, reasoning & listening/responding skills as a side benefit.

I originally purchased this game at Target as a gift for a friend and he gave it such rave reviews I ended up buying a copy for myself. It's a fun silly game, up to 9 players and great for kids or adults wanting some lightweight play. It is not a political or even based on current or past events- you are deciding things like if a hot dog is a sandwich. If you have a group that has some of the current day political tensions, it can be a fun way to break the ice. Its also the perfect gift for the RBG fan.
