Thread feels very scratchy going off an on valve stem. Color seems to fade after a few months. Other than that, nice for the price point and allows me to keep spares in the car.

These are tire valve stem caps, made of a lightweight alloy that almost feels like plastic, and available in several colors. They screw on just like your original valve stem caps but look nicer. They come in a 12-pack, so you have plenty of spares in case of loss or theft. I have the green ones and they have held up well over the two years or so that I've used them. None have been lost or stolen and their color hasn't faded.

Soooo, as always, I read the reviews prior to buying these. I’m restoring a new-to-me mower, and wanted these to complement my new tires and valve stems. Sweet! Only needed four on the mower… and the rest went on our two cars.BUT!!! ….before you start dry screwing!One review I read caught my attention. The woman said that she couldn’t unscrew these covers after they had been on her valve stems for a bit. Metal valve stem caps ARE BETTER than plastic, because most have seals inside of the to assist with the retention of air pressure. However, at large, these metal caps are all going to be some variation of white metal or aluminum. Those types of metal caps screwed onto steel valve stems, then called combining dissimilar metals, CAN POTENTIALLY BECOME FROZEN OVER TIME— called Galvanic Corrosion. It’s somewhat easily preventable with nickel or zinc anti-seize. Put a dab of the anti-seize on the valve-stem threads, then screw these new valve caps on. Easy breezy. If you wanna screw your new valve stem caps on dry, go ahead… this is America. But be warned… Galvanic Corrosion isn’t fun!!

Son tapones de aspecto brillante y buen acabado, tienen una goma interna que permite hacer un sello en la valvula del aire. Son muy ligeros y delgados. No te preocupes si pierdes uno o dos, son muy economicos y eso es algo de lo mejor.
