If discoloration on the container, either inside the bottle or on the lid turns you off and the taste of metal is not appealing, then do not buy this and then, out of lack of knowledge, leave a nasty review. But if you clean it properly and store it properly, it can stay beautiful and polished. I have been wanting a copper water vessel, for a very long time. The price was decent and I believe that when my real hair color starts growing back because i'm giving my body the essential copper that it needs, I'll make up the cost on the back end in savings from getting my hair colored. So listen up ladies and gents, if you have gray hair, you are most certainly deficient in copper. Get your copper on a daily and watch your natural hair color start to grow back in at the roots! Not only that, copper is a critical mineral necessary in keeping your heart function operating properly. Now, on to the carrying case. I specifically bought this brand because it was 100% copper, but also because of that beautiful shoulder bag. I have cleaned the bottle, dried it out, and filled it with filtered, mineralized water, put the lid on and put it in the fridge. Pure copper flask is well made and handsome. l fill it with Spring Water and use it daily for my drinking water. It makes the water taste fresh and clean and soft. The hammered exterior is visually pleasing and makes it easy to handle without slipping. I'm happy to keep it on my kitchen counter.
