I was disappointed when I saw it, in the pictures it looks beautiful but is not the reality as if it was changed for another set.

Strudy but not interesting with color
The ones I got are rather ugly, they are dark with very little interesting details in them. Be cautious when buying but over all they are strudy and the right size for a book shelf.

Nice decorative pieces
These are beautiful decorative pieces but not capable of holding up my child's dr session books. It flew off the shelf and landed a few feet away. Have something sturdy holding the books and this on top or next to the actual bookend.
