So, each of the first three novels covers one major plot point of the original anime (DOLLARS, SAIKA, Yellow Scarves). Similarly, Volume 4 covers the first half of the new Durarara!!x2 Shou arc.As for the quality, not only is Narita a brilliant writer, so is the translator YenOn got to write the english version.

Yeah, I love DRRR!! The characters are interesting and intriguing. the story just keeps rolling. If you've seen the anime, this gives you backstory and fills in a lot of the internal story from the characters thoughts and emotions. Very much worth the price and enjoyable.

The world of Durarara is just the one that you don't wish to leave. A tormented city of love, lies and danger.One of the most overwhelming novel of it's era.

It is perfect if the anime didn't give you enough information and if you wanna get to know the characters on a deeper level... even when I dislike the hollywood arc for my daddy not playing a major role but what will you do

Shipping took 1 month but it was waaay faster than predicted. The sample has some flaws in the spine but nothing really bad.
