We got this as an additional monitor on to of a sound monitor. One night, I went to check on our little girl and woke her up. So we decided to get a video monitor. We decided on this one because of the reviews and we didn't want to spend a lot of money (we already had a monitor). 90% of the time it does what we want, the other 10% can be down right frustrating.Pros- super easy setup. I set this up in about a minute longer then the app took to load on my phone.- small.Cons (for a baby monitor specifically)- clicks when the camera goes into infrared. This is loud and gets the attention of my 7 month old- cannot turn off the Led. There is a menu option to turn off the Led, but it doesn't work all the time. I think it still flashes if the camera goes offline. I ended up taking aluminum foil over it so it won't wake up my daughter at night.- you have to have another monitor. We already knew this, but just in case someone else doesn't. It streams to your phone, and there is no indication of noise or movement, so you need other monitor to let you know when something is going on and use this to just get a visual. For us this isn't a big deal, just wanted people to know.- network anomalies. All the time. It seems like this monitor has issues connecting 50% of the time. Most of the time, you just try a couple of times and it will eventually connect. Sometimes it doesn't. Not very good if you are depending on it to keep your child alive. Once again, we have another monitor so this isn't literally life or death. Just incredibly annoying. To get a little more technical, the network anomalies happen sometimes signing in. Which means the issue has nothing to do with the camera and everything to do with my client side phone connecting to the X10 database. I am having the issue signing in right now and writing the review on amazon, so obviously I have an Internet connection. They have some bug in there authentication, that is causing some annoying connection issues.

updated review:After switching Wi-Fi to a different channel the camera works much better now, however it still does randomly time out, and the listening option works sometimes. But for now, it works okay.old review:I should have listened to the negative reviews. Bought this camera on August 12th and it is completely unusable now. It constantly fails to connect disconnects and reconnects. Connection times out, camera off line... this thing is not good at all. It's basically an expensive paper weight. In a five minute period, I'm lucky to get 1 minute of video...

So far very impressed with ease of setup and use. Motion sensitivity seems a little spotty sometimes but other times seems to work fairly well. Clarity of the video is excellent. Options for the camera are extensive. Quality seems pretty good but only time will tell. Wold definitely recommend.

Worked for a few months, then periodically needed to be re-synced. Now the IR doesn't work (half the image is dark) and when I tried to reset the camera, it won't sync anymore. Should work for more than just a year - I have an old Panasonic webcam that is still going strong after 10 years.

This camera quit working after a month. I'm pissed. Unable to get it to reset now. When it did work it was very good.*You get what you pay for. The company "Linked" you have a problem. I will not buy your product again and I advise others to say away!

At first I was a bit skeptical about this camera, it didn't have many reviews, and it was a name brand I haven't heard of. But we just got a new puppy that stays at home during the day that we wanted to monitor, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Even though weren't that many reviews for this camera, the reviews posted were mostly positive. I decided to take the plunge. So far I could not be happier with the purchase.After receiving the package, installation was extremely easy, and shouldn't be a problem for anyone. After downloading the application, the app walks you through the entire setup, with the camera notifying you when is is connected to the wifi. The camera is now active and ready to live stream.Picture Quality is available in a few modes, with HD being the highest streaming around 100+k/s. The Video feed I use is the LD quality mode which seems a little slower with about 3 seconds of lag and roughly 24 k/s, however this is not an issue. The sound and microphone seem pretty crisp and clear and is loud enough for the puppy to hear even mounted to the ceiling.Mounting this camera is easy, attaching the base to my ceiling then setting the camera in settings to downward mode was very intuitive. The free app has an easy to understand user interface, and can easily support additional cameras. During mounting I had to disconnect power, after mounting was completed, I plugged the unit back in and the camera gave me audio confirmation that it was reconnected to wifi within 30 seconds.I will definitely purchase an additional camera now for my living room now that I have seen how well this first one works.Pros:Cost efficient, Great ValueGood Picture Quality, live streaming works very well.Easy Setup with a well designed appCons:Mounting the base to the wall or ceiling requires screws which were not included.The wire for power was a little short to make routing the wires look like a clean install.

I got a bomb item. The micro SD card slot didn't work. There was no spring tension to it. Push it in and it falls on the inside. It was way to light too. I'm guessing some or all of the guts got left out. Basically, It didn't work.

Not stealthy at all. Bright green flashing light, red lights on camera, and loudly announces when it connects to the network.It never recorded reliably and finally decided to stop working entirely about 1 week after passing eligibility to return date. Junk. Do not buy.
