Atari Plug and Play

Great. Works as advertised. The teenagers love it. Well made product. Well worth the money.

I was super excited about this since i was a big fan of Atari games. First, the newer TVs do not have the right connectors. Second, when I figured it out how to make it work there was no sound or color. Don't buy it unless you have a tube TV. They need to develope a new version for the flat TV specification

I installed it in the bathroom for long sitting sessions. It was fun for about a week, then I got bored, the games are fine, and it is great for the older crowd who miss pong and missle command and atari games. I guess im just too used to playstation games. Some of the games they chose for this would be easier to play if there was the old paddle, it is hard to play pong and stuff like that with the joystick, you have less control.

Not perfect, but the games work. The joystick is a little stiff, and that makes it s bit jumpy when playing pong, but it's still a lot of fun. The games aren't all how I remembered them, but there still really fun to play. When I first took it out of the package, put some batteries in it, and plugged in; it didn't work. Not really, the screen got fuzzy, and the games wouldn't play. Well, you couldn't even read the words on the screen. But, it turned out that the batteries were old. So, if something weird is happening with it, try perfectly new batteries. It might solve the problem.

Although the makers took care to make it look authentic, the joystick's poor response time hampers most of the games. Playing Atari was never this frustrating. Indeed, only Yars Revenge is playable. I returned it after a few days.

First off, this was listed as NEW and shipped as a gift. I was just informed by the recipient that it came in a torn plastic bag with no box or instructions...just the plug n play controler! WTF? No bubble pack or anything to protect the game...just a flimsy plastic bag and definately not new. The only reason that I give 3 stars is because, miraculously, the game still works and seemed unharmed.

Good toy and good gift, but bit difficult for little kids because control not easy in some games. Anyway, for that price..
