Great shirt
They are less expensive than buying at the 5.11 store, but quality seems to be just as good. They look immaculate in their packaging and fit well.

Another great shirt from 5.11 in their TacLite line
I packed this 5.11 TacLite Professional Long Sleeve Shirt in the Tundra color to wear with 5.11 TacLite Professional Pants in the Coyote Brown color, along with the same 5.11 TacLite Professional Long Sleeve Shirt in the TDU Green color to wear with the 5.11 TacLite Professional Pants in the TDU Khaki color for a trip to Manhattan between Christmas and New Years. The weather was forecasted to be windy, with scattered showers, and temperatures become progressively colder with rain turning to snow flurries. My 5.11 TacLite Professional Shirts and Pants kept me equally comfortable while sightseeing with my wife, walking out in the weather, and while shopping and dining with my wife, indoors in the stores and restaurants. When the temperature dropped to its lowest on our last day, layering, with a thermal undershirt and underpants under my 5.11 TacLite Professional Shirt and Pants, kept me warm and comfortable all day outdoors. When our trekking outdoors was finished, and we prepared for our flight back home to New Orleans, I changed from my thermal underwear to regular cotton underwear, and continued to be quite comfortable in the Town Car to the airport, waiting for our flight to board in the airport, and in our jet flying home. My 5.11 TacLite Professional Shirts and Pants also looked neat, creased, and professionally casual when I carried my overcoat and Homburg hat, while shopping and dining indoors. And most importantly, my wife thought I looked great in my 5.11 TacLite Professional Shirts and Pants, even walking through Manhattan. OHHH-RAH !!!

My Favorite Shirt - High Quality, Great Looking, Functional!!!
This is my favorite shirt - great looking, high quality (tough), and keeps me cool in the Summer. The fit is a bit large: I'm normally an XXL and the XL in this shirt fits with room to spare (though the arms are slightly short for a tall guy). These seem marginally smaller than the short sleeve version, in case you have that as a point of comparison. While it is not the coolest shirt I've ever owned, the back venting is very effective. What I appreciate even more is that when I am sweating a bunch, it's not very visible on the fabric. I hate when shirts show the world how much I'm sweating, especially on hot and humid days where there is really nothing that can be done about it. I have the long sleeve version in grey and khaki and they both look great. Oftentimes, I can't wear light colored tactical shirts, because for some reason they make it look like I have a serious manboob situation. Not so with these shirts - the pockets are held close to the rest of the shirt and the high-quality fabric keeps everything looking as it should. These shirts are a tiny bit stiff right off the rack, but after a couple of wears and a wash, they are absolutely, 100% perfect.

Excellent for concealing howitzers...
Definitely get a size smaller. I hate that so many companies are making these "tactical" shirts so huge. I get that there is a portion of the population who wants to be tactical without ever setting foot in the gym but this sizing is a joke. I also get that a lot of professional need to wear something heavy and potentially bulky under their shirt. But let them adjust the size as needed so its not always a guessing game. And even if this is over sized for a vest, it doesnt explain why the sleeves are clown sized large. I'm 6' 170-180 depending on the time of year, and the medium fit like a tent. I could have put plates, a vest, molle pouches, and a D Eagle under their and still had room for small-bore (towed) artillery piece. Self propelled MIGHT have been pushing it. Wont know till the next round of 1033 milsurp shows up in my city for anti-whatever operations. The small fits pretty good. The chest and torso are fine, the length is expectedly long, the shoulders are a little tight (I'm not especially broad shouldered) and the sleeves as mentioned are huge. For reference their diameter is 18 inches near the shoulder and a little over 10 before the cuff. My medium sized very loose Patagonia soft shell goes from 16 to 8 and my short sleeved under shirt is about 12 the whole way. Its much more noticeable than the jacket because of the sharper fitted/sides. And also because the roughly extend 3 inches past my wrist making them bellow more. I wanted a relaxed loose fit for breathability and easy of movement without rips or tightness but this is a little much. Maybe theirs some reason to it that me and my buddies just aren't tactical enough to understand...Also be warned because of the material and weavel, the shirt is a little see through. Even my white/peach/pink skin shows up in the sleeves.Everything else about this shirt thought is pretty legit. Double and triple stitching, great breathability, toughness, worthwhile features that are very useful. all the normal stuff you'd expect from 5.11.

I love my 511 shirts!
This shirt is a thin material compared to my heavier tactical versions. It’s more dressy, but it has the same type of design features of the heavier versions.I wouldn’t carry even a small, light weight firearm in one of the concealed chest pockets of this shirt but an iPhone and car keys or a passport are perfect.
