Great Buy!
Great buy!The battery backup function is great, I had a power outage over the weekend and when power was restored the clock came right back up at the proper time and date, not missing a beat. The clock face is bright (but not blinding at night). The setup instruction while being in Chingrish, make the clock easy to set up.The alarm is loud enough to get me out of bed, but not defining. The ringtones are great and makes me not want to smash the clock when it wakes me up lol.

Large and easy to read
The time numbers are clear and easy to see from anywhere in the room. The smaller numbers for temp and date may not be so easy to see from across the room, but we're old folks so you'll have to judge for yourself. It was not hard to set up and the instructions are as clear as these things can be. Definitely recommend.

Not atomic, but an amazing alarm clock with nice melody options
This is a super nice clock! Large, easily readable display....you can adjust the brightness, setting it is easy, and I loved all the melody options for the alarm!!The only reason I didn't keep it was because it's not atomic, and that's really what I was looking for.

Perfect Clock, Features & Size
This clock has a great look - its long and sleek. It keeps correct time, inside temperature, month & date. Its easy to set the clock and all features and its great looking. The design is why I purchased this - I love the height particularly and the length is perfect too! The alarm plays different 'tunes'. Very nice!I highly recommend getting this product.

Short on Time
Last night I opened the box, read the instructions, unwound the power cord, installed backup batteries, placed the clock on my wife's night stand, and plugged it in. On the right side of the display the temperature and date were shown in light blue. The rest of the display was blank. There are two buttons on top: Snooze and Light. I pushed the Light button a couple of times and the time display flickered into life. I say "flickered" because it never came on steadily, it just flickered off and on. I cycled the Light button a couple of more times, and the time finally came on as a steady bright display... too bright. I say "too bright" as in it might sunburn the side of your face while you sleep too bright. I pushed the Light button again, only to get the intermittent flickering again, although it did flicker dimmer this time. Eventually I was able to get back to the "too bright" steady display, so I put on a pair of sunglasses to set the time and date. When I finally finished setting the right time and date, I took my sunglasses off to let my eyes adjust to the light. So far so good. Then... right as I turned to walk to the bathroom to check my eyes for cornea damage, the clock shut off again leaving me in pitch black total darkness. I froze in place, since I could not remember where the various obstacles were strewn across my bedroom floor, and I am too big to make any kind of soft landing. At just about the same time my eyes finally became accustomed to the dark room, the clock decided to ignite its display back into strobe mode, and began flickering off and on like a high intensity disco ball. I ran for the bedroom door to escape before I suffered a Grand Mal seizure, all while seeing myself in the wall mirror doing some surreal strobed stop action animation worthy of a B-grade horror movie! I poured myself a stiff one, and flipped the bedroom circuit breaker off, so I could go retrieve the clock, and box it back up for a refund. I don't recommend this clock if you have any kind of medical condition, i.e. anxiety, epilepsy, PTSD, etc.
