The strings were tied with a very simple knot which unraveled as soon as weight was applied. If an adult had tried to sit it the chair initially they could have been hurt. My son fell out but luckily he is 6 and fairly elastic like all kids are. I was still upset though.

Product recieved isn't what the site shows. Very disappointed. Not cut to as a chair.

The fabric is sturdy..however the craftsmanship is lousy. The loops that hold the hammock together, were all separating and I had to tie knots myself, to keep the entire weave from unraveling apart. Regardless if the item did not cost much, there should be shame on selling such careless constructed items. If you can't manufacture a solid piece of goods, then don't make them at all.... it will only get the seller bad reviews.

I am editing my review. The first swing I got came right apart and I was so very upset. My kids the most upset. But as soon as I told the company, they sent me a new one no questions asked! So while I did have an issue with the first one, I am very satisfied with the new one!

Bought this so we could have as better place to relax instead of a traditional hammock. I liked the color, the pillows it came with I really didn't use they just get in the way because they're small. I was disappointed that the straps were not as pictured because it only had one semi circle metal ring to hang. The other side was just a loop of the strap material.
