Apoxie Sculpt worked great to repair an outdoor poly resin statue (garden owl had a broken, missing ear). First time user observations: - I don't know if I got product nearing the end of its shelf life or it's supposed to be this way, but it was not as soft as expected. Directions say to let it rest for 5 minutes after mixing Parts A and B. I found it was ready to go within 2 minutes. - had to consistently moisten fingertips with water to smooth the material and taper/feather the edges. Not a problem, just found this worked -adding a few drops of acrylic paint to tint it (after kneading but before using) did not seem to affect handling or curing. Be forewarned though, adding too much could negatively impact adhesion and hardness. -wax paper works fine to roll out, flatten and set the material down while working -Depending on the project, working in stages helps. Even for this small area, I applied a rough shape first, let it harden and added a finishing layer -Don't expect perfection, especially first time out! You may get excellent results on a first try. I'm pleased but I did find achieving super small or fine details a bit challenging. You can't blame the product if you have no patience or eye for what you're doing. Practice using various tools helps.

This stuff is incredible to use! So easy to mix, and makes sculpting so easy, just use water on your fingertip to smooth out so it needs minimal sanding. A lifesaver for my projects. Entirely recommend to use, worth every penny.

You could use this alone or do a 50/50 mix with green stuff putty and have great results. It can be a little brittle or makes your green stuff a little more brittle after cured - fine for sanding, but if you torque it too much, it will snap (whereas pure green stuff can bend more without breaking). I think it's a great alternative or used in combination with green stuff.

Really nice stuff for my applications. I occasionally make electroformed jewelry. This mixes well. As long as you mix equal parts accurately, it sets up very well. You can form shapes with it, similar to clay, you can attach parts, such as a jewelry bail, wire, etc. You can paint this once fully cured, with a water-based graphite electroconductive paint and electroform over it.

I usually get the larger containers but know if you dont have a use for all of it. It goes bad.. This time I went for the smaller containers and truthfully was surprised at the size. From the pictures, they look smaller so am pleased. I sell Alligator teeth and like to use the 2 part sculpt to fill the teeth or they can crack easily.

This is a great product that I have used before but the package I received was not fresh. It was hard and too dry and a bit difficult to manipulate. I was able to use it and it worked fine but I wasn't able to save the unused portion for later use as it was already past it's prime.
