Starts up/acquires GPS quickly, super simple to operate and read while in motion on my MTB. I like the ride stats (it even counts and measures jumps) plus easy syncs to Strava. Great first bike computer for me.

Have been using Garmin Instinct watch for my rides, but what's lacking was that I am unable to view the watch face while riding. This makes it hard for me to check for navigation and other data fields such as cadence, speed, etc quickly. Setting up this computer is easy. Existing sensors paired with the Garmin Instinct watch are transferred to to the computer during the set up, which meant that I don't need go through the pairing dance again. My watch is now the heart rate monitor for my rides, and yes, it can be paired to the computer as well.

Mi Garmin EDGE 1000 dejo de funcionar, y decidí irme por este Garmin sobre todo por el precio, en principio y aunque leí las reseñas no contemple lo pequeño que es, sin embargo, es un muy buen producto de Garmin, tiene las funciones que tenía en el otro ciclocomputador, aunque extraño un poco la pantalla táctil, los botones de este modelo son bastante fáciles de usar. Si bien el modelo es pequeño se ve bastante bien y tiene suficiente contraste en la pantalla para leer las métricas, se pueden ordenar las pantallas de datos según se necesite y el número más grande se puede utilizar con la métrica que uno desee. Al principio no encontraba como mantenerlo prendido, ya que en la noche pues no tiene el contraste automático como el anterior, sin embargo, si tiene la función de retroalimentación y mantener encendido, la batería se descargó lo normal para una rodada en la noche de hora y media. En general lo recomiendo ampliamente en relación calidad-precio y que tiene todas las funcionalidades de los demás Garmin.

I've been using this product since release, and I'm satisfied with it. 2hrs cycling ride with GPS+Glonass w/out live tracking leaves me at around 77% battery. It connects to my wahoo sensors seamlessly and you can set it to automatically upload your ride to Strava through the app. Garmin Connect IQ also supports 3rd party, user-created metrics that you can download to the device, which is great. It supports heart rate monitors, speed, cadence, & power meters. It also has a nice breadcrumb trail with a map that shows you your preset routes that beeps when its time to turn. It has a handy page that shows your current climb and current strava segments to get the most efficiency out of your ride. All in all, its a great compact device for amateur riders.
