Royal Doulton Pacific Lines 16-Piece Dinnerware Set

So far the dishes have done remarkably well. They seemed a bit thin compared to what they replaced so I was concerned, but they are doing really well. They’re easy to handle, wash well in the dishwasher, and cook well in the microwave. They’re attractive and I think they were a great choice.

The dishes are a good value. Seem really durable and I like the design. Bought another pattern to mix with them. Great for every day.

I received 3 sets of four place settings. The top large dinner plate in all 3 boxes was broken. The other pieces were not broken. So out of 12 large dinner plates received, I only have 9 unbroken. I think this is an issue of packaging since it was the same plate location in all 3 boxes. Amazon was great to quickly send a replacement so I am happy about that. These dishes are nice quality, not too heavy, not too thin and we love the design. The mugs and bowls are a nice size and shape. The smaller plates are perfect for lunch and the dinner plates are large, 11" which we like. I would give 5 stars except the hassle of dealing with the broken dinner plates.

This product was hard to imagine being offered by several vendors but made by Royal Doultan so could English china be this inexpensive really be this good? So far, it appears the answer is yes and if you love blue touches on wonderful white background, I highly recommend. It seems like they may be in the late stages of this series as I had two vendors cancel my order as not available but thank you Amazon, I was able to get 8 place settings.

I love these dishes. I purchased them in all three patterns so that I can mix them together. The patterns are fun and fresh, the colors are classic and clean. Very attractive dishes. They are heavy with thick rounded edges. My last dishes narrowed at the edges and chipped constantly. I've been using these for about a month with no problems.

This was a great replacement for 30 year old stoneware. We love both sets and an additional 8 dinner plates enough for the holidays. A great glaze which allows for easy cleaning and much more durable than fine fine china which we have stored away. If I live another 30 years, these should work fine. Thank you Amazon.

The bottom of one cup and one plate arrived slightly chipped and one plate has a bubble of glaze in it, making me concerned that the plate will leach whatever chemicals are in the glaze. The additional issue is that this china is off-white and blue, not white and blue, so it is not as good looking or "clean" as I expected.

I've been wanting this for awhile now as an everyday set. It's so pretty but simple. I was afraid some pieces might have broken during shipping but everything was packed well and tight. I was happy the seller was offering it for the same sale price as a major department store that sold out on this.
