Sunex 1500-Pound Wheel Dolly

I don't write a lot of reviews. However, I felt I must with this. My use is not as a dolly. My use is to facilitate tire changes and rotations on my 4x4's with 35" & 37" tires. Use these to jack up the truck, insert jack stands, position this device under tires, pop off bolts and the tire(s) SLIDE RIGHT OFF the lugs and SLIDE RIGHT BACK on the other location. It's AMAZING, and it's very smooth and easy to manipulate. Anyone doing thier own tire rotation with heavy 4x4 tires, this is a GAME CHANGER. You can three-dimensionally position and rotate the tire any way you need it - no pressure on your back! - And its fast. This model is heavier duty than others on here which is important if your trying to lift a full size SUV or truck

So there was one review I read that said this dolly works for putting their Honda Goldwing motorcycle against a wall - and it DOES! 4 bolts to put it together, it's heavy, and it totally WORKS. I was surprised how sturdy this makes a side kickstanding cycle to move, which mine is. This dolly saves me $money$ on winter storage for the bike. I wish I'd had it years ago - super easy to use, 2 of the 4 wheels have locks, and I am wowed. I rate this item full 5 stars and wasn't paid to write this. They should market it as a motorcycle storage secret - cuz it is.

Work great. It is well made and easy to use. I use it to raise and lower the wheels on my car when I rotate the tires etc. My old back can't lift the wheels onto the studs anymore.

When your nearing 80 years old even passenger car wheels get heavy. I still do most of my own car maintenance. I ordered this to help with a brake job. Perfect!!! Getting the wheel off is easy. They will fall off. But getting it back on can be a pain in the back. The Sunex wheel dolly made it super easy and fast. Wish I had found this a long time ago. Very nice tool. Well made and sturdy. No problem handling the 17 inch wheels on my 2015 Nissan Altima. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who works on their own cars and trucks. I believe it can handle the large off road wheels easily.

The wheel dolly itself is an excellent product.The packaging it gets shipped in is inadequate to protect the dolly from damage caused by the goons shipping it.I bought 4 of these. They are shipped individually. Of the four, only one package arrived intact.Package one was damaged but still intact. Internally, there was minor damage to the anodize finish on the aluminum wheel rollers.Packages 2-4 were all burst open. Someone had stuffed the contents back into the box and wrapped it in plastic and packing tape like some sort of crazed spider then dumped it into a very oversize box without internal packing so the damaged parcel could slam around inside while in transit. Net results :packages 2, 3, and 4 all suffered noticeable damage to the aluminum wheel roller.packages 3 & 4 suffered mechanical damage to caster wheel locks disable their function and jammed the wheels.The good news : anyone likely to be ordering these is also likely to have the tools and know-how to repair or replace the damaged casters. The bad news : After paying good money for a top rated product, they should not have to do this.Shame on the Sunex packaging engineer. These wheel dollies are heavy and need to be more securely packaged to prevent damage at the hands of shippers.

I have a 24' enclosed car hauler that I only use a couple of times a year, so being able to pull it into my garage/building and push it against the wall really frees up useful space. So I put a caster jack on the tounge and used four of these for the wheels. Works like a charm. With the trailer empty, these easily jacked up the trailer...I just pushed on the pedal with my hand as it wasn't much effort.They roll really well and I had no issue pushing the trailer by hand. Two of the wheels will stay jacked up on them until the next time I need the trailer as I can't get to it on my own, but I don't expect any issues doing that. I also like how the jacks hold the wheels up.Take note that these things are well greased from the factory, so depending on the packaging damage when it arrives, you may have some grease where you don't want it. Have a rag available for wipe downs.

It’s a really well made dolly. Very sturdy. Assembly was easy with good instructions. Although it was not designed or sold for this purpose, I use to slide my 800 lb touring bike out of the way of my car. Super easy to do. But I’m only swinging the back end of the bike over a foot or two and must balance it myself when I do. The foot pedal just barely clears the exhaust on the K1600 but it fits perfectly. I like this because it’s and easy to use compact solution and doesn’t require me to get the heavy bike up on it’s center stand. But I repeat, it wasn’t designed for moving motorcycles so proceed at your own risk. 5 stars from me.
