I was looking for a reasonably priced carrier to transport my Velotric Discover Step Though E Bike. When used with a Quadratec Adjustable Bike Rack Bar Adapter, this carrier does the job. The directions were pretty easy to follow and the carrier went together in about 20 minutes or so.Although, this is designed to carry 2 bikes, I only set it up to carry one bike in the position closest to the vehicle. It makes it a little trickier to position the bike ( i.e. lowering the hooking mechanism, and removing the hook), but I think it is more secure. It doesn't hang off the back so far. I have already used this to transport my bike 30 miles or so, and the bike didn't budge, so I am pretty happy with it. I still have the option of quickly putting on the pieces for the second bike if I ever need to do that.

Took about 20 minutes to assemble and mount to truck.Drilled out rivit on top of folding upright center support tube that holds bar J clamps. This allows removal of J clamps by loosening knob and sliding clamp assembly up and off top of tube. Now when you fold bar flat the J clamp does not interfere with loading fist bike. Once first bike is on carrier, fold bar up and loosely install long J clamp to hold it while loading second bike...With or without this modification you must use included safety strap around carrier frame and bike frame tubes after everything is tightened down. Some early reviews mention J clamps loosening when traveling and bikes bouncing J clamps up tube. I will also use rachet straps to make sure bikes stay secured to carrier.Hitch anti-rattle included with carrier is "ok" but using my own heavy duty hitch rattle clamp, carrier is solid and does not bounce or sway. My bikes are at the upper rated weight limit of carrier but appears solidly build and welds look good and complete. Loading larger, heavier bike first puts more weight on main tube closer to hitch.Will update after few hundred miles if opinion changes.

It does not have a hinge allowing you to fold the assembly up when not in use. It's a good unit but it has a lot of slack on the back intersecting part that connects the bar that holds the bike tire racks.

A great bike rack for the money. Easy to assemble and disassemble. My bike weighs 60 lbs. and it had no problem managing the weight. My only issue is with the Anti Wobble System. I highly recommend not using it. There are only two small welds that hold the nut inside the insert. If the weld breaks when tightening the nut may not be able to be unscrewed from inside the insert since it may just rotate. If that happens the pin cannot be removed from the hitch resulting in a big problem. I recommend using the $12 CZC AUTO Hitch Tightener and a regular hitch pin instead.

Item is durable , easy to assemble ( 30 min ) and sturdy while attached to the vehicle. Easily mounts 2 bikes and after a 160 mile trip on the rear of a pickup , they stayed nice and solid on the hitch.

Initial review is that this rack is great. Packaging was good, everything was protected well and organized. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The design of the rack is clever and the folding center post makes loading easier. Only tested with 1 bike so far but it seems very sturdy.

This rack is poorly designed. I bought it for two Ebike fat tires. The bikes way 65lbs with the batteries removed so this rack should have held up. In order to secure the bike to rack you have to move these clamps down a square tube then tighten the knob to hold it in place. This is where the problem lies. You can tighten the knob as tight as you can, but it comes lose, loosening the metal clamp that holds the bike to the rack. The manufacture knows of this flaw, thus throws in a strap. When I purchased this rack in January 2022 are rack never came with the extra strap. The clamp that holds the bike in place isn’t the only problem. The tire bars that hold the bike also bent. Luckily a police officer saw are bike dragging down the road and pulled us over. The only thing holding the bike was two little Velcro straps!! I’m going to take the rack to a welder and see how much it will cost to weld the tire mounts on and put a pin in so the bike mounts don’t slide up. I would say don’t waste your money on this rack. Lots of mods need to be done.

Pretty easy to assemble. Both my bikes have fat tires and they fit great. The adjustable stability bars are perfect. Would recommend for sure 👌
