Bought one for under our pergola for some cords. Loved it so much bought a second one. Few guests have noted it looks nice but also catches your attention so you don't trip. It was super easy to install and one of them easily held two bigger extension cords with no issues. Very affordable too and the material seems very durable.

I had been looking for years for a solution to my problem. My ignorant builder (as many seem to be) put the electrical outlet on my porch so that if I wanted to plug in Christmas lights etc. the cord would have to cross the walkway where delivery people and visitors walk. I didn't want anyone to get hurt, so I have done without outdoor holiday lights for 20 years. I saw this and the great reviews. I was able to order a 25 foot outdoor cord with surge protector strip at the end. I plugged it in to the outlet than ran along the wall, across the front door and down the other side. When I put this protector over it, it made the cord lie neatly against the foot of the wall. No danger of tripping. The yellow stripe makes it very noticeable to anyone approaching the house. It was a win-win for me, because the trim on my house is black and I decorate the porch with yellow items so it was almost like it was custom made for my house. I am ordering another one of a shorter length to cover the cord as it makes a turn onto the porch. The only caveat is that I was not able to cut it into shorter lengths with scissors. However, a box cutter did cut it (though a little ragged). It was very difficult for me to cut, but then a strong young man might not have any trouble cutting it. I will probably cover the opening on the bottom with electrical tape, just to make sure the cord doesn't slip out at a later date. This is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon.

I appreciate this is still going strong in the barn! Have used it for 4+ months without signs of major wear. It does move back and forth on the cement but holds onto the 2 thicker extension cords I put inside. Another thin cord or 2 could fit in it, but it'd be tight and more likely to pop out, I think. But it's great for our 2 cords. It has kept the cords pretty dry - in a frequently wet area. Horses with muddy, wet hooves have stepped on it and it retains its shape! Does it's job! Every 1 or 2 weeks I do find myself tucking in the cords - just on the very ends they start to come out a bit. This is probably due to it moving back and forth a bit/it's not stuck to the ground. But a minor issue. Impressed with this! Best out of a lot of these types of things I've bought! I prepared myself for a tough job of trimming this to size - but it cut really easily actually with standard kitchen type scissors.

I was looking for a cord protector for a 10-gauge extension cord that I needed to run across my garage floor to power a tabletop miter saw and table saw. Everything I saw was far too small for the 0.57-inch diameter of the 10-gauge cord; and every choice that was big enough was also meant to be a "drive-over" protector, and cost $200+. All of the reasonably-priced 'large/heavy-duty' protectors, including this one, had a cavity height of 0.47-inch. That's very close, so I went for it. I was pleased to find that his cord protector is indeed heavy duty; it's very thick, heavy and flexible rubber. However, the 10-gauge cord does protrude a bit from the bottom, which keeps the strip from laying perfectly flay on the floor (see photos). I think the top of the strip may mold a little better to the cord in time. All in all, for the price, it was a good solution for me.

This rubber cord protector is a really, REALLY good product. It holds a couple heavy duty cords or several smaller ones. Keeps things tidy and safe. I have one in front of my garage door holding a cord that had to be run where my car goes in and out all the time. I have had mine in place for several weeks now and it stays in place, keeps the cords safely tucked inside, and doesn't show a bit of wear even though it is on concrete. It is a very impressive product. Bend the cord holder slightly in half backwards and installing the cord becomes super easy as that opens the gap wide for you to tuck your cord(s) inside.

It’s a good quality cord cover. The beige is actually beige. It looks great and matches the floor well. It doesn’t look beige in their photos, but the actual one that I got does.
