Excellent! Would buy again!

I really, really hate touch-sensitive buttons. They're almost always harder to use than physical buttons, and that's the case with this monitor light. It's particularly difficult to set the brightness, because you have to tap and hold on a spot for three seconds to start the increase, and then guess when to let go. To dim, you tap-and-hold again. So unless you've just changed the brightness, you don't know whether your first touch will increase or decrease it. It's impossible to finetune, and the colour temperature is the same (and even harder to get right).Luckily, you only really need to do this once, and then hopefully never again. I'd just prefer if there were actual controls. Maybe little dials on the ends that you could twist, or a single dial with a mode button. Or even just having 10 preset levels that you toggle through.The auto-brightness seems like a nice touch, but I'm not convinced it's all that useful. In a dark environment, you usually don't want a task light be on maximum brightness, which makes it difficult for your eyes to adjust.Anyway, those are the complaints. Now let's talk about the good stuff.First, it feels sturdy and generally well-built. My only minor issue is that the plastic trim for the controls isn't flush on one side of the light, but it's no big deal.Second, it has a memory function, so if you unplug it and then plug it back in, it'll remember if it was on or off. This means that you can plug it into a USB port in your PC and have it on when the computer is on, or plug it into a smart plug to control it. This makes the 6ft-long USB-C cable a nice inclusion.Third, it's easy to position the light so that it's not producing glare on the monitor. I wish that the lens opening was slimmer so that I wouldn't see the light when looking at my monitor, but it's not that bad.I can't say much about the clamp, because I'm not using it. My desktop PC has a Windows Hello camera that pops up right where the clamp would go, and I didn't want to block it with the light. So, I designed and 3D-printed arms to attach to the monitor, which position the light above the camera and further out from the display.Overall, I'm pleased. There's room for improvement, but this will work for my purposes.One more thing: make sure to take the protective plastic off of the lens. Strangely, there were two layers of plastic on mine, and I initially worried that I was also pulling off a lens coating. That wasn't the case, though. You should be left with a clear, fully transparent piece of glass.

The light itself is great but the clip will not mount on my monitor. The articulating clip thing on the back seems to be completely useless. The light can't be directed where I want it to because the USB power input blocks further rotation. Having a light directed on my monitor is useless. Also, the light fell and scratched my monitor. Very disappointed that I will have to return this.

The clamp is not big enough and while I was sleeping I heard something crash and the light had fell off the monitor. When I looked at my monitor there were two scratches.If you have an expensive monitor do not use this!

Only downside, because the buttons are soft touch, it can be hard to fine tune the brightness and color temperature in small increments. A hard button will be easier to control by clicking it.

Tension mounted led light, you might think twice for untra thin bezel monitors. It takes a second to adjust brightness or light temperature which is annoying but not a deal breaker. For my bezel-less monitor, I had to use double-sided tape to avoid applying direct pressure on monitor display. Not a deal breaker again but limited selection for the price and design.
