Was given a non-running chinese GY6 ATV, and it was barely getting any spark & would not fire no matter what I tried... After changing Carb, Air filter, coil, spark plug, battery, and voltage regulator, I still could not get it to fire... Digging deeper, I discovered that a previous owner had changed the CDI to one that looks like a mini car amplifier with no markings or labelling on it at all. After determining this ATV was of the DC variety (rare to be DC, but lights working with key on was a dead giveaway it is a DC bike), I bought this thinking there was nothing left that could keep it from getting agood spark. I was right!!! Once it actually fired it still did not want to rev, but that was just due to a stuck slide in the brand new carb... This CDI was super simple to install, ad the price was perfect fro reviving the chinesium ATV. It's a bit larger than the spot the original was, but a little creativity & I got it mounted pretty solid in the spame spot. I was pleasantly surprised how quick this little thing revs once I got it going. Never expected the 150cc GY6 to be so responsive. I do not have any stock reference to compare to, but I have top assume it was not as snappy with the stock rev limited CDI installed, nor the aftermarket one that was already installed when I got ht ebike. Only complaint I have with this is the adjustable timing... Not exactly sure where it needs to be set, so I put the adjuster in the middle. Hopefully it is safe there... Need to clean up some wiring, change to some super bright LED lights & make it look half decent, then its off to a new owner who should be able to enjoy it for many years to come!

It's very reliable my bike starts first try and I can fine tune it according to weather etc
