Swoony Everything
Oh, wow. Wowza. Wowza yumma stuff. Loads of it. So, so good. Swoony everything. I'm having a problem with full and complete sentences, obviously. The banter? Yeah, top notch. The buildup? Two thumbs up. The kissing? Get my fan and a cold glass of lemonade. No joke. This story was SO. MUCH. YUM. Sigh. I want to go back and read it again right now. I probably should since I read through it so quickly. That happens when you can't put it down. And yeah, now I have a book hangover which is also what happens when you have a book like this. It's hard to move on.So yeah, read this book. Carve out some time so you don't have to put it down and be angry at the people around you for living and mistakenly assuming you want to leave your book world for the other world we live in. Just giving you a head's up.Content: PG-13 intimacies (kissing, making out)

Beautifully drawn contemporary romance
Romance, clean, contemporary; series but stand alone read; PG13 for detailed make out sceneSweet romance with just the right amount of swoony romance. Juliet and Noah were great characters, both flawed, but genuine, and with honest hearts. SW knows how to draw you in with the subtle moments that make characters real, compelling, and wanting more from every turned page. She gets the moments that build attraction, romance, and relationships. Her characters are human, flawed, and real. The hurts, triumphs, and tender moments that make everyday life and make her readers cry, hope, cheer, and love her worlds. Loved the Hollywood setting and the back stories with her friend Shelby, Allen, Juliet and Noah 's parents, the neighbors, Juliet's job , and so many other details. Magnus was such a great foil for them both. Noah's care and concern for her, and anyone in Juliet's orbit. Perfect pacing, some fun subtle hints to the actor Noah was modeled after and the series he starred in, and of course the real life of that actor in Noah's Sweet characters and backstory that made it even more fun to read. Some fun mentions of other characters and things in other novels that SW wrote, which all of her fans will wreckage and love. Definitely a stand alone read though. My only complaint, just wanted more of them together once they figured things out! More of a 4.5 for me as a reader. So fun, clever, witty, well paced, and romantic that I rounded up! Sweet romance at its best! Can't wait for the next book in this series!

The cutest of all meet-cutes!
I loved this book!! Not exactly a surprise, as I have loved every single thing Sariah Wilson has ever written. What was a surprise was all the fun and unexpected twists she added to this famous guy/regular girl love story. From their very first meeting, Juliet is the heroine you want to root for and Noah is the hero you can't help swooning for. She is oblivious to her beauty and wrapped up in past hurts and insecurities, while Noah is patient, thoughtful and kind....and also oblivious to his own beauty. They are the perfect quirky pair and watching them fall in love was truly delightful. This book has taken the top spot on my list of Sariah favorites, which is really saying a lot as she is one of my top one-click authors. If you like clean romance that still sizzles, laugh out loud humor and a unique plot that keeps you guessing and wanting more, this is the book for you!

Reader beware - this seemingly innocent romance has a nefarious real-life foundation.
It’s one thing to write a fluffy romance. It’s another thing entirely to write a fluffy romance about a very real person, and use actual moments and quotes and people and events from his life to make your story seem interesting. All this author did was change the names of the actual people she was writing about. Even this was done in a way that would be obvious to anyone familiar with the real-life actor that is the subject of this bizarre self-insert work of pseudo-fiction.All one has to do to discover the object of the author’s obsession is read the thanks section in the back. Which funnily enough, includes just about everyone in the actor’s life EXCEPT his wife of nearly a decade (gee I wonder why?)Aside from the cringe-worthy constant referrals to actual life events of the actor in what should be described more as a fanfic than a novel, the plot as well as the relationship between the main characters seems forced and unnatural. The writing is ok at best, again seeming more fit for online fan forums than bookstore shelves. If you’re a fan of RPF (real person fiction) you may like this. But if you’re looking for an actual creative work of fictional romance, look elsewhere to a book that isn’t an obsessive fan’s fantasy spun around the life of her obsession.

A sheer delight!
How fun is this? Ms. Wilson based this story on getting to meet her Hollywood crush, Adam Driver. This lovely book is about a woman who's volunteering as a seat filler, and who ends up sitting next to her ultimate Hollywood crush. But they end up in love-and that journey is the most fun I've had in awhile! The characters seem so down to Earth(yes, even the movie star) and the dialogue is witty without ever seeming forced. I enjoyed every minute of this-and I have to say, I read it in about 8 hours(couldn't put it down). Want a fun afternoon or two? Read The Seat Filter. You won't be disappointed.

I love this
I absolutely adore this story. It addresses fears that might seem strange to a lot of people, but I know affect lots who stay silent for fear of judgment. From personal experience I can fully relate to the heroine and her fears in this story. She is gifted a romance with a strong, compassionate man who is willing to help her work through her fears, which is something I think we honestly all strive for in a relationship. It’s a quick, fun read just in time for summer! 🦋

And the award for Sweetest Book Boyfriend goes to...
Noah Douglas is an actor who has a tough looking exterior but being with Juliet brings out the sweet, kind, man he is. Juliet meets Nolan at an awards show when she is a seat filler and they become fast friends. Juliet has a fear of kissing and he wants to help her overcome it by volunteering to kiss her. Their relationship quickly starts to develop but there is a secret that she is keeping from him. Will this mess up their chance for a HEA?

Light enjoyable read
*Minor spoilers*I enjoyed this book a lot. I felt like the author, whilst following the same general structure of her other books, really improved the substance of what she was writing.I have read many of her books now, some many times, and this was a brilliant read. It had the perfect balance of character depth and complexity but being light enough that it didn't overwhelmed the story.I liked that both Juliet and Noah has their own respective characters traits and whilst Noah was the most compassionate and caring and thoughtful person, he was also a three dimensional character with struggles outside of his need to get with Juliet, or fix Juliet's problems. Even little things like needing to put up a fence or bigger struggles with differentiating his personal and professional identities and issues with trust. It's great reading novels where the love interest is very self aware of their inherent hotness, but it feels more organic when they have little moments of insecurity and self depreciation; it made Noah feel like a human being instead of a fantasy.I enjoyed the development of how Juliet saw Noah as from unattainable, on a pedestal, and not really a person to someone who was both Noah and this movie star, but Noah first. It was an important realisation for her because its also what made her trust him more.I found that the drama moments in the book were a little underwhelming but also it felt like Noah blew Juliet's secret out of proportion. I understand that the sensitivity to lying is associated with his trauma but as a mature adult, his reaction did not seem appropriate. Afterall, Juliet's actions did not present in anyway like she was taking advantage of him, especially considering that he was the one to pursue her when she repeatedly said no. I mostly expected him to tease her about it endlessly.I loved the background characters of Shelby and Allen, She was more than just an emotional sounding board for Juliet. I enjoyed the last little scare, it was light shock with quick relief and kept things refreshing.I have to say, I was very happy with the accountability for actions. When belief is suspended over Noah's reaction, I liked how he was firm with the fact that what Juliet did was not okay and that it really did affect him badly and even though he knows she didn't mean it like he thought and that he misses her, he found it hard to forgive and move past it. His conflicting emotions, wants and regrets, particularly added depth to Noah's character. I liked that whilst Juliet did apologise profusely she did not grovel, and did defend and clarify herself too.Sometimes the language and abbreviations felt a little too casual for the tone of writing that had come before it. I was thrown off by 'OMG' because it lowers her narrative voice to a much younger age, and its hard to take her seriously when she is talking like a 13 year old girl.I liked the subtle nature to Noah's attraction that was much less sexual than in her other books, and it fit well with the nature of their relationship and the direction of the book in terms of exploring themselves, moving past trauma, and breathing fresh air into their lives. This romance was so sweet and wholesome, and of course, with all Sariah Wilson books, the pining was delicious.Lastly, I like the name drops.I recommend this book for great characters and the loveliest relationship based on trust, consent, consideration, and care.

Mixed
I left off reading this book several times before finally finishing it: I would enjoy reading it, become irritated and bored, put it aside, go back and continue, frustrated by it, put aside, rinse and repeat. It had sympathetic, well written characters but took a long time to move on.

Loved it
I think Sariah Wilson has just become my new favourite author. Loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a slightly diferent take on the 'boy meets girl' style novel. It's also worth reading for the canine characters!!

Great example of the genre - light, fun and a really healthy relationship
I liked that this presented a relationship one could really aspire to (emotionally) rather than the somewhat toxic affirms so often portrayed as romantic. A fun, easy light read, just what the doctor ordered.
