GREAT SHOES
These shoes are perfect in every way. They fit great, feel great, and look great. And based on another pair I have owned and worn for quite some time, they last a very long time. The packaging was excellent, as was the delivery time. I look forward to buying more of these in the future.

Very comfortable, but a bit noisy!
I have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes are the most comfortable ones that I have tried. On the down side, they make noise when I walk in them - more than a squeak, almost to the point of being embarrassing! After walking in them a while, they seem to quiet down. Hopefully, once they are really "broken in", they will stop the noise. I also purchased some white ones, and they don't seem to have this problem. But, insofar as comfort is concerned, these can't be beat!

Great walking shoe!
I bought this shoe based on a recommendation. Never heard of it before. But it was recommended as a walking show and I am using more walking in my exercise routine. Wanted to get a shoe that was built specifically for it. I have not been disappointed. Took time to adjust to its design and fit. Doesn’t fit like my running shoes or other gym shoes. It does live up to its reputation, I have been working with them for a month now and I have no complaint. I am a moderate walker, I walk 2 to 3 miles a day at a 15 minute per mile pace. I rated them a 4 only because it took time to adjust to their fit. There is an arch support.

Great shoe
A patient of mine recommended this shoe. I am on my feet all day and recently they have been aching by the end of the day. I always notice shoes on my patients and we got to talking about the Orthaheel which she highly recommended. I gave them a try and am quite pleased. I normally wear an orthotic inside my shoes but they didn't seem to be doing the job. I also like the looks of the shoe and that they don't look "frumpy" like so many ortho shoes do.

They look good. They seemed to fit when I got them
Perhaps I shouldn't order shoes on line because the shoes are very uncomfortable. They look good. They seemed to fit when I got them. I don't know what the problem is.The first week I wore them they felt okay. The second week, I notice the bottoms of my feet were getting sore. I wore them a couple more times and had to take them off at work because my feet hurt so much. It haven't worn them for two weeks and my feet are still sore. I'll have to find another pair because these just don't work for meI.can't wear the shoes and I'll have to wait a while before I can buy another pair. These shoes are the only things I ever bought from Amazon that I haven't liked or been satisfied with.

walking again
They are ugly but I love these shoes. I was an avid walker for years and later in life developed arthritis in my spine and just could not walk without pain. I also had very flat feet and tried these out of desperation. I am back to walking a mile a day without pain. It definitely takes a couple of weeks and short sprints of time to get used to the stiffness and the structural realignment. They do run small and I ordered one size up.

Good arch support but needs more cushioning
I love the Orthaheel tide,, so when planning a trip to Disney World, I thought I'd try these. I have slightly wide feet, and the medium width was fine. There was plenty of room in the toe box. I ordered my normal size, and the fit was perfect. I usually wear Nike running shoes with Birkentock inserts for my plantar fasciitis. This shoe is constructed so there is no need for an inserted arch support since its built in. My foot felt properly aligned. There is not enough cushioning in this shoe, especially under the toes. My feet still ended up hurting after hours of walking at Disney World, and for some reason, I had pain in my calves too. I wear them now to take walks, and I am going to put a cushioning insert in. If Orthaheel could put more cushioning in and make the shoe more attractive, I'd buy it again. For now, I would not buy another pair.

Comparison of new and old 7 months of wear.
Does the job, this is 7 months of wear.I work for the postal service and these get the job done but they could use some improvements, my route is half walking half boxes. So far I haven’t found a shoe I absolutely love but these do last longer than most in my opinion. I use my own insoles though. They aren’t breathable as I’d like them to be but that’s because they have leather. In my opinion the leather shoe regulation sucks.
