Thank you for reaching out! We don't recommend reusing the plank as a standard practice. This is because they can get quite charred on the grill which makes for a fantastic smokey flavor but a plank that is pretty much used up. That being said, if you are able to control the flair ups or you use the plank in the oven, you may see that your plank could be used again. If that is the case, we recommend that you rinse the plank thoroughly and get all of the food stuffs off. Then freeze the plank. When you reuse, make sure to use it with the same protein as no one really likes fishy beef. Thank you again for reaching out!

how long do you have to soak plank?

15 minutes is the optimal time. You can soak it for less and you can soak it for more and they will be fine, but our chef did extensive testing and they are best at 15 minutes.

What are the dimensions of the plank?

The planks I just purchased (5/24/22) are NOT 3/8" they are 1/4".

Can one use these planks on electric grills?

Hi, Yes, any heat source works for the planks. You can even use them in the oven, but you will need to adjust the temperature so they don't catch fire in the oven.
