Learning Resources Plastic Centimeter Cubes, Math Cubes, Counting, Homeschool, Set of 1000, Ages 6+

I use it to help with math. One of my children is learning multiplication and the other is working on adding and subtracting. These help them make groups, so he can visually see the problems. I suppose they can be used for art projects, too.

Exactly as pictured. I use these to teach probability to my students in junior high. I moved schools and my new school did not have them, so sadly I had to purchase these for my lesson. The colors are more vibrant than the old set I used to use, but they are the same sturdy cubes I have used in the past. There are 10 colors, each of 100. The numbers are not exact, but they are close. I did not count all of the colors, but I separated them into cups and after filling 30 cups for my activity, based on what I had left over, I could see that I only hd 99 of the white, and 101 of pink, and so forth. I did not care to have exactly 1,000, so the numbers being off a tad is not an issue at all. Some of the other colors had exactly 100. I do wish for my activity that brown and black weren't so close in color and that instead of having a light and dark green maybe purple or something. Otherwise, I love them.

These are great cubes for making board game prototypes. They come with a lot of colors and enough of each to use in multiple games at the same time. The only negative is the two greens are fairly similar, and they have a little bit of plastic flashing on one side.

There are multiple uses for centimeter cubes in teaching elementary mathematics and science. It is easy to model different shapes with them, They are useful in introducing counting proglems and various types of sequences. They can be used for numerical values in virtual balance scales leading to early algebraic comprehension activities, and the list goes on. As a secondary value, but an important one, it should fix firmly in the students' minds the approximate size of a centimeter. I continue to find more uses for the centimeter cubes and am certainly glad that I found this set which was a particularly good buy!

I loved this, I didn’t use it for learning instead used it to create a Minecraft dog. The pieces stick well together using hot glue and paint very easily with acrylic. Bonus is instead of paying $60 for wood for this kind of project, I spent half of that. Good project material and sturdy.

I needed the cubes to teach a lesson on volume. I had previously purchased a different brand somewhere else. I really wanted this kind. They arrived quickly. Just what I needed and fast!

I bought this for my print-n-play games and any other games that require little cubes. The only thing I don't like is that there is a dark green and a light green cube. It would have been nice to get one green and then a different color. My set was complete (10 colors with 100 cubes each) and none of them were deformed. These measure 10mm so it might be a tad big, and I really do mean a tad / tiny bit, for some print-n-play games that require 8mm but I don't see any problems as they overhang just a bit.

Great blocks for game design testing. only real complaint is that some of the colors can be hard to tell apart in yellow-tinged lighting. Would also have been nice if they came pre-sorted, but that's a nitpick.

Parfaits. Colorés ,résistants. Conviennent parfaitement pour mes réalisations. S'ils étaient un peu plus gros ce serait l'idéal.

Great variety and value for money when considering alternatives - had thought to colour my own cubes but would have taken too long even if saving more money. Numerous applications - can be used at home, school and for fun games too. They are easy to use, however would not advise using with young children as could be a choking hazard.

Can stack about 10 or 12 even though they are small. Seem like very Precise dimensions. Putting them together I can't tell any size difference rotating them. I'm pretty sure they are solid, but didn't cut one in half. The circle on some of the faces in the picture were not as deep as I thought. In or out, they just barely catch a fingernail. Going to buy more.
