Simple and easy to use. I find I am using this more than I ever thought I would. It simply sits on top of my existing "center burner", preheat a while and cook. Great for all kinds of cooking once you get use to the temperature control (which will probably vary based on your own center burner's size, BTU output, etc.). Like any cast iron it requires some care - but really no more or any different from any other cast iron. I did lightly season it before first use and clean it up if I do some messy cooking. It is not light but I don't find it that hard to clean, dry and then lightly heat and season with vegetable oil.

Not sure how pre-seasoned this griddle is. Everything sticks to it. Like stuck on so bad the food was almost inedable. And, we did grease the pan. Eggs were a disaster, pancakes too.The flat side is very textured instead of smooth so is that the reason for all the stuck on food? We won't be using it for those 2 items again, perhaps just meat. So, we were kind of disappointed in this item. We may try to season it again sometime. Sad it was a disappointment to try using..

Love it. Fits cooktop perfectly. Breakfast cooked all on griddle at the same time. EASY to clean.

I got this so I can use it on my stove top well it’s only gets hot in a small area and I was under the impression it would work all over I know it’s gonna be hotter where the eyes are but the heat isn’t distributed at all and it dosnt fit on two eyes only on one wich makes it even hotter
