Useless support and lack of commitment to warranty
I purchased the last generation product from this seller and since much of my 3 star rating was based on support, I wanted to cross postVerified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: AAC-X4 Desktop Computer - 3.8GHz Quad Core Processor (Bulldozer) 8GB DDR3 RAM 1,000GB (1TB) HDD (Personal Computers)Mixed feelings over this product. For it's price, the specifications are outstanding. But I'm not sure of the component quality and I'm less than happy with the much touted 3 year warranty.Within a few months of purchase, the sound system started acting buggy. The PC is connected to a TV via HDMI. In order for the audio to pass to the TV, the TV had to be turned on for a few minutes prior to the PC being powered on. Checked the cable, TV HDMI input by using another PC and it is definitely something to do this product. Emailed support and was met with a "never heard of this before, did you try a different cable? Type of response. Decided to just always turn in the TV first as a work around.About 1.5 years along, the HDMI has gone out all together and a fan sounds like its about to die. Did all the normal trouble shooting. - ie changing cable, different HDMI input choice, different PC, etc and it's definitely this machine. Opened it up to see if I could just replace HDMI - nope, it's part of either the mother board or card. Not sure as I didn't dig around as I didn't want to void the warranty and I'm not a computer whiz so none of this is instinctive.Contacted support and was told to use an air can to blow out the fan as that's usually the problem with fan issues. And for the HDMI problem, Aaron told me that I'd have to reformat the entire machine since it's probably a bad driver. When I responded with, "no, that's not normal process for a corrupted driver." Aaron insists that I have to reformat the entire machine first.Um, no.So, if you need a cheap no name PC that works decently for 1.5 years, this will be fine. I'll use it as a backup machine until it dies as the VGA connection works fine. For HTPC (always on and used 16 hours a day) it didnt work for us.

Not worth the headaches
My husband purchased an AA computer last year and it has been plagued by problems; everything from poor design to sub standard components. He has had to have his PC replaced once, an excruciatingly slow process with customer service, and recently when more problems ensued AA computers, and their haphazard customer service has not responded to warranty/ repair requests in over a month!!! Sorry Aaron, President/ CEO, @ AA computers but this quality of service is unacceptable, if you have a warranty stand by it! My husband is still waiting to hear back from them concerning our PC (nearly a month and nothing, they don't even answer their phone line), but seriously BUYER BEWARE! Spend a hundred more and get a big name PC, their follow through on customer service is much better.
