I recently had surgery and decided to give this cream a try. My scar is on my nose/eye area, so I liked the idea that it has a SPF rating. My scar was somewhat lumpy, but I’ve used this cream a couple of times a day for about a week and a half and my scar has smoothed out. I’m pretty happy with this cream.

I had high hopes for the Mederma Scar Cream Plus SPF 30, especially after undergoing neck surgery and wanting to minimize the appearance of my scar. Unfortunately, after over 8 weeks of use, I haven't seen any improvement in the scar's appearance. Not only that, but the SPF 30 protection doesn't seem to be sufficient for my needs. I've had to resort to covering my scar from the sun with additional measures, which has been frustrating. I really wanted to love this product, but it just hasn't delivered the results I was hoping for. If you're considering trying it, just be aware that it may not work as effectively as expected, especially for scars that require more intensive treatment or sun protection.

Should be zero stars. This is just sunscreen. It does not have any active ingredient to treat scars. Complete rip-off. Save your money and use whatever sunscreen you have laying around. Calling this scar cream should be illegal.
