The device works well however we can only achieve 17W for some reason. We have had to use additional loads to boost the amount for our testing to 25W which wasn't ideal.

This DROK USB Load Tester is an essential tool for anyone who works with USB devices or wants to verify their chargers and cables are performing correctly! The adjustable constant current feature from 0.25A to 4A makes it incredibly versatile - I've been able to test everything from low-power accessories to high-output fast chargers. The dual interface compatibility with both standard USB and Type-C is perfect for modern testing needs since everything is transitioning to USB-C. The build quality is solid, and the controls are intuitive and easy to adjust. I've used it to identify faulty cables and chargers that were delivering inconsistent power, which has saved me from potential device damage. The intelligent temperature control with the built-in cooling fan is a brilliant feature that really sets this apart from cheaper testers. Even when running sustained 25W tests, the unit stays cool and stable. The display is clear and easy to read, giving me accurate real-time readings of voltage and current. This has become an indispensable part of my testing toolkit - whether I'm verifying new charging equipment, troubleshooting power delivery issues, or just satisfying my curiosity about how well my chargers actually perform. For the price, you get professional-grade testing capabilities that are normally found in much more expensive equipment. If you're serious about electronics, charging infrastructure, or just want peace of mind about your power sources, this is an outstanding investment.

very helpfull and good testing device good for testing power bank claims that saw well we put out 15v @ 1,5 amp well this meter you can set it to that load and than see if you some the power bank and believe me ive smoked a few with it just going 10% under normal limit from a good brand power bank seems some brands over charge their power banks a bit in the price range 20-40 euro watch it almost all fail tests and kinda begin to get verry hot to stop test for safe reasons.

I’m using this to keep my USB battery pack alive by providing a constant load, since my garage door sensors don’t draw enough power on their own to prevent the pack from shutting off. It works perfectly. One tip: although it’s advertised as only going down to 0.25A, it actually goes lower, which is ideal for my setup. I have it set at 0.11A — just enough to keep the pack active while running cooler and drawing less power. My sensors now stay powered 24/7 without any issues.
