Q: Can this be powered via POE?

Ref: "No I'm sorry. In order for the Domotz box not to rely on any other equipment in case of failures, it has its own power supply." How would offering POE prevent a failure? If the switch that the device is plugged into failed, would it matter if it was POE or not? The device would still fail to access the network. And, considering that most network devices or using UPS, it seems it would be a better offering if it was powered by POE in order to cut down on failures.

Q: Are there any credits for the required monthly service included with purchase of the Domotz Box?

No, they don't use the credit system anymore. It is a very inexpensive monthly subscription.

Here is a good article that talks about the difference at https://help.fing.com/knowledge-base/fingbox-vs-domotz-pro However, at a high-level Domotz is really designed for business users while Fing is more for homeowners and consumers. Domotz enables advanced networking features, ability to quickly analyze business network data, resolves problems immediately, and manages & monitors multiple devices of different users. Plus since you have 2 subnets, Domotz offers Private Subnet Scan to monitor a Layer 3 subnet of a VPN-connected LAN or other connected routed subnets.

Q: It says that domotz can monitor your wifi signal etc for specific aps does it monitor other wifi aspects & is this via the box or app subscription?

Yes. It is available within the advanced plan. The domotz agent talks directly with the access points or the zone director and provides a lot of features (reboot access points, monitor signal strength and noise level of APs by channel, signal strength of connected clients and much more). If you look at the Domotz pricing page (https://www.domotz.com/pricing.php) there are few pictures in the section Wi-Fi Access Point Advanced Monitoring. Please note only the following access points are supported for these features: - Ruckus - Ubiquiti (released a few days ago) I would recommend contacting domotz support if you need more precise information or help at support@domotz.com.
