This really works well!
Got this on a lark as I really wanted a dining room table - but had no dining room. Wow, I'm thinking this was about the best bargain I've gotten on Amazon in a long time. This thing works very well!Pros:1. Heavy construction (and heavy in the box)2. Arrived in the box in good shape and on time3. This little table looks pretty good in the living room4. Very sturdy with no wobbles5. Easy to set up by moving a lever and opening a leaf6. Love the variable adjustable height feature7. Seats 5 comfortably without crowding8. Very good price for the quality of the tableCons:1. Well, heavy to lift2. Kind of ultra modern for my living room (I'm speaking of the satin steel legs)3. This will not seat 6 people for dinner without knocking elbows (directions say it will)Okay, so I'm reaching for the "cons" there. Bottom line for me is this works great as a coffee table and great as a dining table. Who needs a dining room!

Love it, ❤️ It’s a life saver
I love this convertible table. I have a small living room with no dining area, I’ve already spent more than $5000 buying different sizes of table to fit my place and leave enough room for my kids to play as well, every time I bought I ended up taking it out 👎, so finally I saw this table add on Facebook and I searched it in amazon and bought. It’s really sturdy and nice 👍, and space saver, me and my husband love it. It’s easily converting from coffee table to dining table , now we don’t have to worry about where to put the extra table for dinner 😁 and we have plenty room for kids to play... yay !

Table works for family of 6!
This table is amazing! We purchased this item months ago and it has been holding up very well. We use this table as our dining room table (because our house is small). Every day we raise the table up and unfold it to its large size. We use our living room furniture to gather round (couch, armchair, bench) and eat our family meals (again for all six of us). Our daughter's chair can attach to the table and she's at the perfect height for eating with her family. Most of the time the table is low and folded up in coffee table form. As our baby has gone from crawling to walking, we have been able to keep the coffee table at the perfect height so she doesn't bump her head against the corners! That's a truly genius way to keep baby safe! We love it!The picture shows how we can also use the table for homework time, family puzzle time (300 pieces) and feeding the baby time. It really is wonderful! Very sturdy and strong! Our four children haven't been able to hurt it! Yay!Side note: Husband had to add an extra safety latch so that the table handle wouldn't "accidentally" get bumped and then the table comes crashing down to the ground! This wouldn't be a problem in a household with less children or probably zero kids...less chances for bumping the table with rough house play, etc. I'm glad my husband was able to come up with a solution to keep everyone safe. Overall, this purchase was perfect for our family and has given us a functional, strong piece of furniture. Yay!

A great looking and functional coffee table... finally.
FIRST, THIS IS HOW WE INSTALLED THE HANDLE THAT ADJUSTS THE HEIGHT OF THE TABLE. "Instructions" are just drawings and rather small, not very explicit, low resolution photos. Included with the table are a handle, a spring, a nut, and an Alan key, in a little plastic bag:1. WE MADE SURE WE WERE SAFE, by placing the table on the floor, on its side, with the long side of the table where the handle will be installed facing up, AND SITTING OR POSITIONING OURSELVES AND EVERYONE ELSE IN THE ROOM ON THE SIDE OF THE TOP OF THE TABLE, OPPOSITE AND AWAY FROM THE LEGS.2. Took the handle and placed the nut inside the head of the handle.3. Took the spring and place it inside the head of the handle, over the nut.4. Carefully placed the handle with the nut and the spring on the portion of the table where the handle needs to be installed.5. Pushed the handle down and used the Alan key to tighten the nut.6. Once secured, the handle moved freely from side to side.7. To make the table taller, pushed down on the handle while at the same time rotating it to the right.8. The legs suddenly extended to make the table taller (REMEMBER YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE IN THE ROOM NOT TO STAND OR SIT ON THE SAME SIDE AS THE LEGS).9. To lock the legs, pushed down again on the handle, and rotated it to the left.10. Two of us, carefully placed the table on its legs.11. Then we could safely experiment with the handle, lowering or extending the legs of the table.12. To make the table's surface bigger, just needed to rotate the top of the table by 90°, and then unfolded the top.NOW THE REVIEW OF THE TABLE, SO FAR, WITH ONLY ONE DAY OF USE:The table really goes well with our contemporary living room. It is very sleek looking (got the walnut color), with the brushed nickel color legs. The wheels at the bottom of the legs are sharp looking, and have a locking mechanism. The table is easy to move around on our tile flooring, but be careful if you do it with liquids or breakables on the table, since the wheels do not swivel. The wheels are quiet, and do not leave marking on our flooring. When extended, the table will comfortably sit 4 people, maybe 6.I only wish designers would make the corners of tables rounded, specially in consideration to families with little children. So far it was very easy to clean the top. It looks like the table will last a long while, so hopefully I'm right!

Love this table! Works perfect!
I was considering lift top coffee tables until I saw this! Eureka! So perfect for my needs! I use this as my main coffee table in the living room and absolutely love it! But it is way more than my coffee table. I often have it in dining table mode more often than coffee table height. I often eat my meals in front of the tv, so this works great as a dining table, work table, and coffee table. Who needs a separate dining table if you have something like this? Very sturdy and looks great! I can either just put it up against my L-shaped sectional couch for seating on two sides of it, and/or put separate dining chairs around it as needed. No more wasting money on a dining table that gets used occasionally, or being frustrated having to holding up your plate or bowl at the couch while watching tv! Thank you!
