Supremo Italiano: 120 Small Cannoli Shells

Great product, great taste!

I don't want to comment on flavor yet, as these shells won't be filled for another day or two. I can say, however, that I was expecting some loss due to breakage in shipping. I was surprised -- amazed, really -- that out of 120 shells, only 1 was broken! The little nibble I had off the broken piece tasted good, so I am looking forward to having my mini cannolis. The price comes out to @ $.50 a cannoli, so I think that's a fair value and a ton of time saved trying to make shells from scratch.

These shells were perfect and really easy to fill. They are great for a smaller dessert presentation and the shell taste was very authentic. My only complaint is that it took a very long time to receive them. Shipping times are very long so you really need to order way in advance if you're planning on using for an event.

These canoli shells actually came from Whole Foods (a subsidiary of Amazon). They are encased in a large plastic bag that's in a large cardboard box. Surprisingly, there are NO broken shells.These shells are not true mini-sized, but rather, something in between regular and mini. They are very crispy and ready for filling.If you're looking for an easy recipe for the filling, try this: Beat full-fat ricotta cheese, flavoring it with an extract of your choice. Add sifted Confectioner's sugar (10X). Fold in tiny chocolate pieces. Put the filling mixture into a plastic pastry bag. Snip off just enough of the end to allow the mixture to readily exit the bag. Place the bag into the shell and squeeze the filling into it. Leave the ends with a little filling exposed. After filling the shells, dip each end into a bowl of the chocolate pieces. Serve immediately, if possible. Don't fill the shells more than an hour before needed.

These are great for a quick prep. Lacking flavor, more like a cracker than a traditional canoli shell. I used a brush to coat them with amaretto liquor and re-baked them. The sicilian filling combines well and the result was pleasing.The packaging is awful!!! One third of these shells were broken and unusable.

Have made cannoli shell for 60 years. This year time got away so I ordered these. They look like mine, taste like mine and boy they were gobbled up. Love this mini version tooSo told girls in family cannoli making party still on. But we’ll make filling and eat them with champagne! That got a yeah! Buy, you won’t be disappointed

These arrived perfectly intact, not one broken. The shells were fresh and easy to fill. Used them for dessert at an Italian Night dinner event, and everyone loved them. Highly recommend!
