You have no idea how hard it is finding 100% NATURAL anything nowadays. It literally took me days to come across this amazing product. The first thing is the ingredients, all of them are pronounceable and guess what all real not synthetic crap that most other companies put in their stuff (Water, organic safflower oil organic sunflower oil, non-GMO vegetable emulsifying wax, organic radish root ferment, stearic acid, organic vitamin E oil, organic natural fruit fragrance )The texture is super nice. Almost like whip cream. Seems thick but instantly hydrates your skin. Does not leave your skin heavy or anything like that.The smell....idk what these people who say they hate the honey&fig...its a very faint smell of honey and natural oils. Does not smell bad and you cannot smell it after you apply to your skin. So again whats the problem ?! lol noneBeen using a week and I like what I'm seeing so far. People need to realize when you try a new product, you have to give it a chance to work !! Nothing will work day to night. Jeez.Please continue to produce these products for like minded individuals like me who want the most natural stuff available !

I've been using the product for 3 weeks and have seen a noticed improvement in my skin. Where I had problem areas they have healed and my eye and forehead wrinkles have softened. I have sensitive skin so I have learned a few things. First you have to wait till your skin is completely dry after washing (about 15 minutes) before applying otherwise you could break out. The rich cream is waxy (which I love) but if your pores are open they may clog. Secondly, only apply once or twice per day. Frequent use will also cause breakouts. Lastly, apply vigorously to your skin. A massage to increase circulation gets better results (plumpness, fullness, skin tone). I took a star off because of the scent as its too fruity for me. I usually buy all natural skin care from local vendors at farmers markets so I was hoping for the freshness of essential oils. Citrus Rose is a very nice Rose but the lemon is like candy. Grapefruit Almond sweet and nutty like pancake syrup but I have decided it performs better on my skin than Citrus Rose (maybe because of Grapefruit hydroxy acids?). Bottom line, my skin looks younger, feels tighter and is toning up nicely. Will be a customer for life and will try other scents but based on the reviews I think we are just stuck with what we get.

Smells a little strange but not terrible. The smell is of roses and lemons, both noticeable but somehow they don't work together. I do like how the cream makes my skin feels firm and pores look smaller. Works better than the expensive department store cream.***Update****I've been using the cream for about two months now. Noticed that my skin is tighter and more lifted than it has been in years. Love the fact that the ingredients are natural. Also, the smell is common to me now and no longer an issue.Farmstead Apothecary, please don't stop making this stuff! [Don't change the ingredients either]

I found this lovely facial moisturizer by polling my three sisters. We live in San Francisco, Austin, NYC and DC and between the four of us we’ve used a lot of products. Our NYC sister used the Farmstead Apothecary Fig & Honey Face Cream while pregnant and raved about it postpartum. I bought a jar in January and just purchased a second this week (September). I use it exclusively at night and it is the perfect balm. My skin looked learer, brighter and firmer after using it for a week than it ever did using Lancôme products. The scent is natural and pleasant. It is shelf stable—the end of the January jar smells and feels just as great as the new jar. It goes a long way, which makes it an amazing buy. It has 8 wholesome ingredients! I cannot do without it when I travel now. But best of all, my five year old, who has easily chapped/irritated skin, LOVES it when I use it on his face. He says it smells and feels good—and that makes mama happy!

I have dry, sensitive skin and I first came across this cream in 2018 or 2019 after hours of searching for an all natural face cream and was so happy to find this one. The smell was nice, it was light but moisturizing, kept my skin from drying out, and it didn’t burn my skin. Then I purchased it again in 2020 and noticed they changed the formula and added corn based products, one of which is alcohol. See the pictures of the labels for the comparison. The cream now smells terrible, has a different consistency, burns my skin, and causes redness. I am so disappointed and wish companies would make it clear if something changes. Needless to say, it’s back to my search for finding an all natural face cream 😒
