I bought this massage pillow for my girlfriend to make at home massages more comfortable. It’s made of soft and forgiving memory foam. Our face fit into it quite well. It is sturdy and does not loose its shape with prolonged use and it provides great support for the head and neck. She seems to like it better with a regular pillow underneath her torso while using the face pillow. It provides adequate space between your nose and the bed so you’re not smushed into the mattress. Right out of the box it had no odor. We have not tried washing it but I don’t think there would be a problem with machine washing and drying.

I needed this for 3 weeks after a retinal detachment surgery. After the first few days of trying pillows, etc., I ordered this pillow. It was a God send! Looking straight down for 55 minutes every hour of the day for 3 weeks is so boring and uncomfortable but this pillow made it bearable. There is a review or 2 about not being firm enough. I am 69, 5' 11", 180 lbs. and my head only sank 1/2 the way down (my nose was always at least 1" or more above the table with the weight of my heads and shoulders on pillow). The beathing cutouts worked great. I only hope I never have the need to use it again! But I will keep this pillow around just in case.

This was indispensable when recovering from eye surgery and had to be facedown for days on end. Easy to position the head, and the side vents allowed for easy breathing.

Most comfortable to use as a head rest when sitting down at a table. When trying to use for face down sleep it begins to mash up against the sides of your face which gets uncomfortable as the body weight distribution differs from when in a sitting position. Unable to fall asleep when attempting to sleep face down with this particular pillow. Dang it.

My father used the Breathe Easy Face Down Pillow after his eye surgery, and it was an incredible help during his recovery. He had to sleep and sit face down for five days, and this pillow provided the support and comfort he needed to get through it. The adjustable cradle design was perfect for keeping him in the correct position while relieving pressure on his face. It’s well-made, easy to adjust, and made a challenging recovery period so much easier for him. Highly recommend this for anyone who needs face-down support, whether for surgery recovery or other needs.

I'm a stomach sleeper most of the time. This, while the foam is soft, the covering irritated my skin. Also, the string-ed connecter that connects both ends is super flimsy and ends up rubbing on your chin. I ended up donating it.

I think it is an excellent product for the right person. It was to firm and thick for my needs.
