Nice knife for the money, but it is not real para cord wrapping the handle as advertised. The brass guard is loose. The sheath is way too light to support such a large knife. I’m not sure it will hold up. Other than that, it is a very good quality knife as all of their products are great quality. Being that the price is where it is, I give it 5 stars. I don’t know how they make any money selling them for that cheap. We’ll see how the blade holds up. Thanks

Very good blade . Every "budget knife" that says full tang I take apart to see if its true. It's surprising how many "full tang knives" are not full tang. This one is! And stainless steall is great fir this size blade. And, its not just the 550 cord wrapped around the tang, its has a pinned wooden handle . I polished it up with Flitz and it looks amazing. It comes factory "sharp" but does sharpen up easily to a razor edge. It sits now with much more expensive knives and fits right in.

It's nice. I like it. It probably won't fully satisfy a knife collector. But it is a nice, affordable knife and a good value for the money. One reviewer said theirs was "razor sharp." The cutting edge of the one I received is a far cry from "razor sharp." But it isn't dull. I probably will eventually sharpen it further. Another reviewer complained about the weight of the knife, disappointed that it was as light as it is. It probably is lacking some heft, but with this particular knife, I wasn't looking for something heavy. I was looking for something on the lighter side: something light enough to quickly and conveniently tuck in the waistband of my sweatpants or jeans if I was just stepping outside for a minute or two, like to take out the trash or set up the sprinkler. The light weight of the knife and sheath fit the bill perfectly. So I'm happy with the weight. I bought this strictly to carry on my person as a close-quarters personal defense weapon when I am on my own property, and never to be used as a utility knife, or hunting or fishing knife, or anything else, nor kept as a collection piece. If I am lounging or exercising at home in my sweats and there's a knock at the door, I can effortlessly and thoughtlessly tuck it in the elastic band of my sweatpants and know it will hold it just fine for a couple minutes. With the bottom of my shirt easily covering what's sticking up above the waistband, I can then see who is at the door and, if I decided to answer the door, I won't alarm anyone by appearing armed. At the same time, I have a good-sized knife I don't have to open or otherwise fiddle with that's fairly secure on my person and easily drawn from the sheath. One reviewer complained about the "paracord handle," saying it was virtually just a nylon shoestring. Again, I wasn't looking for a collection piece. Just a personal defense weapon. The "paracord handle" looks minimally fine to me and seems adequately functional for a decent/good grip for personal defense. Another reviewer re-wrapped the handle in tsuka-maki fashion and provided pictures of the result and the knife now looks beautiful. It's a great idea and I plan to do the same with mine as well at some point. I paid $20. I consider it a good value for $20 and am pleased with my purchase. Out of the box, it is adequate for the stated singular purpose for which I bought it. And in the future I plan to make a better, more beautiful knife out of it by further sharpening it and learning how to do a tsuka-maki re-wrap of the handle. Good tanto at any price but an excellent tanto at this price (I paid $22 for it). The sheath is actually better than previous reviews will lead you to believe. Those reviewers don't understand that it is designed to be worn IWB (Inside the Waist Band) or tucked into a belt much like a samurai would tuck their tanto into their obi. The little loop on the sheath is not designed to hang on the belt but to flip OVER the pants and anchor to the belt when the sheath is tucked inside the pants to keep the sheath from flying outward when the tanto is drawn. WARNING: I do not recommend carrying it this way if, like me, you are a bit girthy - you might give yourself a nasty slice. Also check your local laws about carry a concealed weapon before you do. The paracord that wraps the handle may be a little loose when it arrives and may loosen up over time. Fix or remedy this by simply applying a little fire. The cord is made of nylon and will tighten up and bond with itself by passing the flame of a lighter gently under it. Do so ever so gently. Too much will overly melt it. A little at a time and check repeatedly until you are satisfied with the results. I recommend this instead applying a glue which (depending on the glue you use) could have an unfortunate chemical reaction to the paracord or spillage could mar the finish of the knife. The blade is quite good. The truth is it is similar to what you would find on a budget samurai sword wall hanger. For a sword, this steel and finish combo is too hard/brittle - a sword needs a certain amount of flex or it will snap under it's own weight when in use. The length of a sword puts too much stress on this particular metallurgical makeup. For a tanto, however, the application is different and this steel and finish combo works very well. The short length of the blade dissipates the stress element and the hardness of the blade holds an edge very well. I love this tanto.

Shaving and paper sharp right out of the box! Good weight and soine thickness. Tough 440C stainless steel. Nice. Handle wrap is nice tight and feels good. But you can customize the handle if you wish.

The quality was better than anticipated. It was a gift and the recipient was very pleased

Knife deserves 5 star ⭐️ but the holster deserves 1 star ⭐️, that’s why oby 4stars , knife is absolutely beautiful , I don’t recommend throwing it , however it’s a gift and I’m sure my brother will love it , the holster is cheap and I’ll be making one out off wood for it as it deserves such blade , I recommend the knife as the price is good and knife is great, ( needs better sharpening though) it doesn’t shave hair lol , and I have no idea off its full tang or ray tail, oh well , still good for it’s price and very presentable 👍🏻

Nice little knife (about 10 inches) semi sharp but sharpened to a very sharp knife very easily. Solidly made. Sheath is very durable
