HAOZHEUSB Rechargeable Shake-induction Windproof Arc Lighter. (Metrical Silver)

While it says Shake-Induction, it DOESNT CHARGE from shaking as I had first thought, instead thats how you turn the lighter on.It holds a charge for about 2 days if you dont use it but only lights for maybe 30 minutes of constant off and on flicking.While the case is beautiful in design and even feels good in the hand with some weight to it being that the only plastic piece on this thing is the light cover and plasma guard, the spark only lasts for 10 seconds before going out, Im assuming this is to prevent the lighter from over heating which when used multiple times in the same minute, you can feel the battery or transformer inside getting VERY hot.The only other complaint I have is that the arc area is rather small and getting it to light most cigars or a cigarrette is abit ackward.3 month update- I have had to drop the rating for this from a 4 to a 2, its been 3 months and Ive noticed a week ago that the lighter stopped holding a charge, when trying to charge you can hear the lighter activating when closed and on its side. To use the lighter, I now have to leave it on a charge cable making the lighter non-portable meaning I cant take it outside with me.

This lighter is pretty freaking awesome! This particular model, which isn't mentioned anywhere until you receive the package, is the Captain Phasma edition. A homage to Star Wars in lighter form. It lights cigarettes really well and the charge lasts about a day and a half when not used carelessly. I feel not enough people cover how easy it is to burn or shock yourself with shake-induction lighters and they really should. I am accident prone and I have shocked/ burned the hell out of myself several times due to just a work focused mindset, flipping the lighter back and forth through my fingers. It will burn 2 tiny holes in whatever it touches after a quarter millisecond of contact, so be careful, you may hurt yourself if not careful. Overall quality of the lighter is very impressive and exceedingly attractive. I would highly recommend!

Out of the box the lighter took about 20 minutes to charge. I didn't get any instructions with the unit, I am not sure how long it would take to charge if the lighter was fully drained. The description says 2 hours. I was not able to test how long it look to fully charge. I have had the lighter for about 12 days and it is still going strong.The quality of this lighter seems to be very well made. Very solid. It is made of metal. I would say aluminum housing with the insides being steel. A magnet just sticks to it.The packaging was very well done. In the pictures below the lighter came in a nice box with velvet, I would have to guess, it also came with a star wars pin… Extra bonus for me. I love star wars. This may have been this lighter style only that got a pin but maybe all lighters have something in the box.The size looks to be about the size of a zippo. I don’t have a zippo, so I can’t compare them.The lighter it easy to light and would very good in the wind, was unable to blow it out. The lighter also has a nice blue light when it is ‘lit’. As described it will not light unless you have the lid open fully, it did light with the lid about 7/8 open but it was awkward to hold and light at the same time. Good safety feature. You barely have to shake the lighter to get it to light. Also this lighter seems to have an auto shut off of about 10 sec.In conclusion this lighter could be very handy in starting a fire or candle without the worry of burning your fingers like an ordinary lighter or match. I would think this could also be used as a survival item if you had a solar charger with an USB port.**** I received this product at a discount for my honest opinion.
