Solid tray
Feels solid and well made. The wax is even and thick. I'm satisfied with this product so far.

Nice size, sturdy
We received this with some damage to the wax where it attaches to one side of the tray. That was unfortunate but didn't keep us from being able to use the tray. There are some clips (for lack of a better word) to hold the wax in. The damage to ours kept that side from being clipped in. Consequently, the wax is now separated from the tray, but that just made it easier to clean for storage. In my picture, the perch that we're about to dissect is slightly over 10" long. As you can see, the fish fit nicely on the tray with room around to be able to move, lay aside organs and other parts, etc. We also dissected a frog and pinned the skin to the wax in the tray. It worked great. No problems with bumping pins out as we navigated through the frog's parts.

Tray arrived with broken wax insert.
I am not going to bother with a return, but the tray arrived with the wax insert broken in half.
