The Death of Mrs Westaway : Ware, Ruth: desertcart.ae: Books Review: Highly recommended! - This was the first Ruth Ware book I have read, and it certainly won’t be the last. This book deserves way more hype, I’m so glad I have stumbled upon it. The writing is wonderfully atmospheric, the author manages to keep the reader engaged from start to finish. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Agatha Christie-style whodunits and domestic thrillers mixed with the perfect amount of suspense. Review: Good quality and very fast shipping

Intriguing story woven together with lots of suspense and gothic elements. If you're a fan of Agatha Christie, then you might also enjoy this one.

This charming mystery reads like a vintage Agatha Christie. A young girl, in desperate need of money, finds herself, suddenly, a heiress. Follow her as she proceeds to collect her answer to a prayer. There are plenty shady characters to keep you wondering and just as many red herrings to throw you off course. I found myself smug and superior as I thought I had the whole plot resolved only to discover the author had cleverly tricked me...again. The novel is a good example of the cliché page turner: can't wait to find out who's who and what's what but not wanting to end the chase. Highly recommend this novel if you are looking for an old-fashioned mystery filled with the unexpected but satisfactory read.

Ruth Ware is telling the story as if she is Agatha Christie's reborn. She is such a great author but also an excellent excursion coordinator. Readers are led from Brighton to Penzance Cornwall, the setting place. We can imagine the picturesque view changing its colour depending on good or bad weather from time to time. Alongside the coastline, the storm porch attaches to the building and St.Piran's old church is at the end. The flock of birds reminds me of a Hitchcock film.
