What did you use to apply the paint with the stencil? Is it a sponge? Can you tell me what it’s name is so I can buy some?

I painted signs with the paint I bought. I used a sponge brush to apply. It didn’t streak like using a paint brush with the sponge (it’s a sponge on a stick) you can get them at Walmart or anywhere

Can this be used on a chrome faucets?

Yes, you can, we recommend sanding the chrome faucet to create a rough surface for the paint to bond to. After priming and resanding, you can paint it with DecoArt's Metallics Paint and finish it with a varnish or sealer to protect the painted surface against water damage.

Can you thin it out if too thick?

It isn't a dry/thick paint to begin with - maybe slightly thicker than wall paint? But yes, I've thinned it slightly with with water when using it to paint wooden door signs and other wooden/acrylic craft projects.
