This was $800 yesterday what happened

Don’t buy. Weld broke after 30 min of use.

The engine is branded "Alpha Works". It is manufactured in China. I looked for parts suppliers and there are none. That said, chances are, if properly cared for, this engine will outlast the rest of the splitter. I purchased this splitter five weeks ago for $800 and thought it was a pretty good deal. At the $628 current price, it is a great deal.

It's electric, so not loud at all

The threads on the hydraulic fill tube of ours don't match up so it leaks hydraulic fluid. Is there a way to get a replacement cap from the makers?

Hydraulic fittings should seal completely with just moderate tightening however on this machine everything is shoddy. I put some Teflon tape on the fittings on my machine. You should never need to do this with hydraulic fittings but it works. Just be sure that no little pieces of tape can get into the system.
