An internal "Breathe Right" - but didn't stop my snoring.
Although I had high hopes for this to stop my snoring, it didn't. :-(I'm a 53-year-old woman who has had six internal procedures done on my nose to try to alleviate the problem, have tried different oral devices, and am still searching for a solution. I'm 5'3" and a healthy weight - I don't know why I snore - but my next step is a uvulectomy - to shorten my uvula! I'm desperate! This is a fairly comfortable internal Breathe-Right strip - it works to expand your nostrils and help increase the air intake while breathing nasally - but I think my snoring is caused by my tongue/throat closing at night. It helped me breathe better - but I didn't have problems with that at all. If that's your problem - I'd recommend it. However, I wouldn't count on it as a snoring remedy. It's pretty easy to insert without the included tools, and you can just pull it out. You can't see it (except for the little clear silicone strap) when it's inserted properly. You can find it less expensive elsewhere - and it's not returnable on Amazon - but I'd say it's worth a try....

Best Overall Nasal Dilator for Deviated Septum
Hale is the best overall nasal dilator I have tried. I use this product primarily as a sleep aide for a deviated septum that affects my breathing during the night. Compared to MaxAir Nose Cones and Mute and some other cheaper versions I've tried over the past few years since my ENT recommended using nasal dilators. I have also experimented with wearing them while running and have found them to be quite effective.Pros:-Effectively opens up nostrils and improves breathing overnight-Significantly reduces snoring and improved quality of sleep-Less noticeable when in nose than other brands-Only brand that consistently stays in nostrils overnight - compared to MaxAir which are more comfortable silicon but don't remain in nostrils especially during allergy season-Dilators last far longer than advertised - again compared to Mute and MaxAir which lose shape and efficacy after a handful of wears. Especially if primary use is for sleeping.-Trial kit comes with a case and microfiber cloth-Can be used for outdoor fitness, jogging etc. Less ridiculous looking that other comparable brands.-Price is reasonable and readily available on Prime shippingCons:-Biggest drawback to Hale is the initial comfort - there is a 'break in' period. It will take a few days for your nose to adjust. Squeeze them a bit before wearing to help with this.-Confusing instructions on how to insert them: TBH, I've worn a bunch of nose cones and I skipped the tutorial. Just use your fingers to shove them in there. The trial kit comes with a tool that you can use, but it's wholly unnecessary and adds to the confusion.-These will not help you with allergies or more serious conditions like sleep apnea. For that you will want to talk to a qualified medial person. Based on a number of reviews it looks like people were expecting these to cure them of more serious ailments.

works but not worth it compared to others.
This my first time using any product to help open my air ways. I suffer from chronic yearly allergies, post nasal drippage, and deviated septum. So u know my nights and mornings are living hell! I bought this and nose strips (breathe right) as to not only compare their effectiveness but to also determine which i'll be using for the for seeable future. First off, these work. They come in 3 different sizes so u know which to order on your next replacement(they last 30 days before needing to be replaced) which is very convenient. The comfortability of these will take some getting used to. However, if u have trouble with sleeping, this product will be a pain to deal with. While its not uncomfortable to wear, its really noticeable to the wearer. So while there isnt any awkward pressure or pain present, its still will be something that may take a long time to get used to or may not ever get used to it. Now the reason I rated this 3 stars is because compared to cheaper and much easier to wear nose strips, the difference isnt worth it. There's a slight better opening using this product but not my much. I talking micro difference here. I'd suggest that if u never used either products or this is your first time using these, buy both and compare the difference. While these work, they arent much better than the cheaper nose strips. May we all breath normal some day!
