Project Debut Aluminium Sub Platter

Bought the project debut evo 2 in January as an upgrade for my rpm1 easy to set up and used it as supplied for the first couple of weeks. The sound was amazing and definitely offers great value, I then swapped the stylus for the 2m blue from my rpm1 and that raised the level even more my second step was to replace the mat with an acrylic slip mat as I liked the weight of the platter and had one I used on my rpm 1 it's alot cheaper than buying the acrylic platter and gives a noticeable improvement in sound, so I was interested to see what else could be done this sub platter seemed a logical choice when it arrived it looked well made and designed for purpose easy to swap over and fits smoothly, the proof is in the performance and on this it's a no trainer sound is sharper more definition the already quiet motor is now silent and the detail is more noticeable would definitely recommend as a worthwhile upgrade

Probably like a lot of people I was a bit skeptical this would really make a difference. But like the upgrade videos suggest this is a great upgrade option for the project debut range. I already had the acrylic platter, upgraded the stylus to the blue 2M and isolated my table on wooden cone feet and board. I could really tell the difference sonically and really liked the sound difference. I can’t explain it in audiophile terms adequately but yes the difference and improvement is there. I would absolutely recommend this upgrade option and product.

Although not a spectacular difference, the improvement of the solidity of sound-stage and percussive detail was marked. Details in the music seemed more easily retrieved, with improved timing and less confusion when the music got busy

A subtle but worthwhile upgrade.

This is my final upgrade to my turntable have done all acrylic pro-ject clamp and now this beautiful sub platter I now have zero record noise and a perfect vinyl sound nothing else picked up from anything this is a must for any serious vinyl listener

This is probubly my final upgrade to my project carbon deck it's mazing and the difference is outstanding...worth every penny .it's pure quality coupled with acrylic platter it turns the deck into some thing that can punch well aboue it's weightmy advice would be to use a nice record puck \ weight I use the nobsound brand ..I also use the ortophon blue stylus alsoagain not cheap but put the four items together and the improvement is out of this world ..

Considering the price, and it's compatibility, it's a waste of money.

Been looking at this project upgrade for my debut pro turntable,for the last couple of months.glade I went a head. This turntable is excellent any way,but this aluminum plater has improved the detail and clarity and sound stage,of the presentation of music.i am using an audio technica vm540ml cartridge.
