(2 in 1) Tempered Glass Screen Protector + HD Clear Crystal PET Screen Protective Filter Compatible with 3DS XL/New 3DS XL

The tempered glass for the top screen is perfect, nice smooth edge, no bubbles, perfect clarity. And it was easy enough to me to apply, you should be good as long as you're careful and precise, and you're in a clean environment, I wouldn't apply screen protectors with long sleeves on, don't want any tiny amount of lint or dust flying off between when you clean the screen and apply the protector. The PET film didn't hinder use of the resistive touchscreen and it feels good to use the stylus on, but I do have some bubbles, though I can't exactly fault the protector for that as I dumbly used a paperclip as a stylus years ago gouging the screen, so that is probably why I have a couple bubbles and I really just got this to cover it up and make it feel smooth to use a proper stylus on again, which it does perfectly. I've actually had this applied for a few years now, not constant use y'know it is still a 3DS after all, but I will say, the protectors have held up perfectly. For the money, this is a perfect value I'd say, even though it's price has gone up a bit since bought it, still $15 is totally fair for two custom screen protectors for an older device like the 3DS XL which certainly doesn't have the economies of scale nowadays of something like an iPhone 17 screen protector which'll sell a lot more.

So since the Hori screen protectors have been discontinued, I've been looking for a good substitute. I want to clear the air about these because I think some of the negative reviews here are a bit misinformed. First, this is for the New 3DS XL screens. It won't fit other models. Second, the condition of your screens makes a big difference in how ANY screen protector goes on, including these. New or near mint screens like mine that have been cleaned are going to be easier because nothing will get trapped under there. Third, the bottom screen protector IS a little smaller than the screen, as I see some people saying. This is a GOOD thing. If you look at the touch screen, it's sunken in with like a raised edge, see that? If the protector was cut perfectly, you'd never be able to get it off because of that edge. The top protector is cut to size because it doesn't have that edge. Having said that, if you line up the bottom protector with any of the sides of the screen, the opposite side will have a noticeable gap, probably 2mm. What you want to do is carefully lay it down so that you split the difference and have a little gap on all sides. You won't notice it while playing and you can pull the protector off if you need to. This is easily the hardest part of applying this screen protector, but I don't know if it would be different with any other brand. As for air bubbles and application, I used the cleaning supplies included and took my time. Both screens went on easily with only one small bubble each. Both of those bubbles disappeared after a little while. Just rub them out towards the edges of the screen. Overall, this is a really good product if you take your time. They include two sets of protectors in case you mess up, which is great. My only real criticism is that this set absolutely REQUIRES a good microfiber cloth to clean the screens, get rid of dust, and wipe off the cleaning solution. It's a big oversight that they didn't include one, so you just have to use your own. That's my only gripe.

This is the third kind of screen protector I installed and it finally seems to work. The bottom screen protector does not get scratched up with regular use of the stylus. Buy this! All the other brands scratch up within 20 minutes of installation. It’s ridiculous. Hopefully this will be helpful so no one has to go through my frustration the last several days. I cannot confirm about the top screen protector as I did not need to use it but scratches would not be an issue on the top screen protector in any case. Installation is the usual pain as with all screen protectors - nothing a can of air and the trick of taping the screen protectors prior to installation and applying isopropyl alcohol before installation can’t address. The fit is ok - the top and bottom margins might be bigger than what I am used to but it gets the job done. It does not affect the image quality. Fingers crossed it continues performing this well!

Sowohl die obere als auch die untere Folie passen perfekt auf meinen New 3DS XL und machen einen soliden Eindruck. Bei der oberen Folie handelt es sich um Panzerglas und bei der unteren um eine normale Plastikfolie, die aber durch ihre Größe perfekt sitzt und trotzdem noch Spielraum lässt, falls man sie Mal ersetzen muss.

Son protectores de pantalla muy buenos y baratos, encima te vienen 2. Lo recomiendo.

Product as described. Arrived pretty quickly! It was easy to apply. The only downside was that both packs including the 'Wet Screen Cleaning Paper' was completely dried out. But, I made it work!
