while using the mp3 player that i personally call a "Nugget", the connect ability is quite fine and no faults to that, sound quality i would use from time to time but the bluetooth is perfect, and the sound quality of the earbuds it comes with, was better than expected and not like the usual garbage off brand earbuds that they stem from, comfortable and really good sound, the video quality while being at its limit for such a size, its worth it, after asking for the video converter, it helped so much rather than looking for a website that offers MP4 to AMV, conversion, (don't convert to .avi , it didn't work for me), would use the aux cable in the future and charger was great, lastly, as i am typing this, i got an unsuspecting surprise when using it, after leaving it play from my speaker for a full day, the Bluetooth was still synced and was playing like normal until the mp3 player started playing the music from its own built in speakers while still connected to my speaker, My own speaker and the mp3 player were both playing music from the mp3 player on each end, at the same time!!!, probably a bug to others, But it was a Bonus for me!!!. Already bought 2 more for my siblings days ago and would recommend buying one for others, and as for me, another one in the future if my current one ever broke.

I just got it as a replacement for another style that would not pair with my flybud 3 Bluetooth 5.0 earbuds. It paired quickly and flawlessly and everything on it seems to work. The actual physical size is a little smaller than I would prefer, but for somebody who wants to throw it in their jeans pocket or something it should work really well. I'm just a little worried about losing track of it when I start traveling. The included gray bumper case will probably help a little bit with that. The video review shows it side by side with the original MP3 player that I bought that's longer and has touch buttons on the bottom section rather than a touch screen like the Menchen. The included wired earbuds are better quality than the longer mp3 player I am replacing. they sounded good there was no static. It also includes an audio cable along with the USB C. The screen on the original (longer) mp3 player that I originally bought scuffed very quickly so I'm not planning on taking this little plastic cover off of this one, although putting that bumper case on it will probably help protect it but the other one scratched up super fast and I'm a middle-aged adult... I wasn't playing with it on the floor or anything. I expect the battery life to be good. I haven't had it long enough to really test it if there are any material differences other than my initial impressions. I will update the review if I find any concerns, but I'd say it's well worth the money. I haven't messed with the file system, but I think it's the same as the other one which was perfectly fine - just using folders. I'm going to be using it for language learning mostly. it does not, as far as I can tell, have a 10 or 15 second rewind option on it so I'll just have to suffer but I need lots of repetition in learning language anyway, so no big deal. There is indeed built in to the device storage that is expanded by your own micro card. So I've been using it for a little bit it's pretty easy to use. I love how easily my earbuds reconnect to it it's rare that I have to go into the Bluetooth menu and press connect frequently it will just reconnect on its own which is so nice because when you get into the menus unless I have missed something which is entirely possible you have to use the back arrow to scroll back through menus. No big deal though.

I was looking for an MP3 / blue tooth player, and line in recorder. After reading through the questions and reviews, the Mechen M3 has all the functions I was looking for plus some. In spite of some reviewers citing quirks, failures, size, functionality etc, It has the specific functions I wanted, so I bought one. It is small. It came with all the listed accessories, was well packaged and had a rudimentary instruction manual. If you need step by step instructions for use, this is probably not the unit for you. Although full instructions for use were lacking, some of the settings were somewhat intuitive. I also used a capacitive touch stylus for adjusting the settings buttons. Big hands / fingers might find changing settings or accessing files a little challenging, the screen is "small". Anyway, using the supplied USB cable, I downloaded a couple dozen MP3's from my computer - Win 10 immediately recognized the Mechen device. The bluetooth connected very quickly to my Fender Passport Venue PA system. I then proceeded to play MP3's through the PA system. I use the Fender Passport for acoustic music performances. During a gig, I connected the line in audio cable to the Mechen and to the headphone "out" jack on the Passport. Set the Mechen to record from the line in, and started recording our music set. 90 minutes later, a recording of the whole musical set was on the device. I used a 16GB micro SD card to capture the file. I removed the SD card from the Mechen and put it into my PC. I then downloaded the audio file to my computer for editing. It exceeded my expectations. Other than the line in recording and FM radio (?????) function, I'm not sure it has any more additional function features than current smart phones.

8 months, I gave it 8 months. I was hearing distortions in the music. I thought at first it was one sound file or then maybe just over Bluetooth and I used the device less and less. Today I used it plugged into a speaker and it was just bad. I have other players and my phone that all play tons better. To me, it sounds like the processor is just cheap and decodes badly. Sorry I bought it and today it goes in the trash. Oh, the menu and trying to play songs is just bad. Touch screen design and stuff is just bad. My MP3 player from the mid-90s is far better.

I was looking for an MP3 that i can use daily. I dont like using my fone for music so i looked for an MP3. This exceeds ny expectations.

Bluetooth surprised me! Connects right away on It's own. Sound quality on wired earbuds hurts a little but it's fine. Software could be more polished and organized
