Reliable and bright
I bought these extra-long solar fairy lights about two years ago, and I’m genuinely impressed by how well they’ve held up. The string is long enough to wrap around a big patio or fence, and the LEDs are bright enough to add a cozy glow without being harsh.Even on days when the sun isn’t at its best, they still manage to light up in the evening, which surprised me. The build quality feels solid too—I haven’t had any major sections burn out or stop working.Overall, a great choice if you want durable, low-maintenance outdoor lights that look good year after year.

Long-lasting, durable, effortless - a winner
I bought these 3 years ago and wrapped them onto the frame of an outdoor patio gazebo. I mounted the solar panels to one upright and ignored them since. We took down the canvas canopy every winter, but left the lights on the frame through rain, snow, and sleet - typical northeast US winters. All year long, they come on at dusk and are still lit at 5 or 6 am when we get our coffee! A cloudy day, of course, will reduce the time they stay on, and certainly, we don't always see the lights on at dawn. But overall, these have really been effortless and durable. We're replacing our canopy with a hard top model and we repurposed the old lights because the solar panels are getting a bit hazy (to be expected after 3 years in the sun and elements!). These are back in my shopping cart for the new gazebo!Note that these are fairy lights. We had 3 strings under a 10x12 canopy and it was faintly lit. Plenty of light to avoid running into furniture, see where your drink glass is, and see your companions. But the light was certainly dim and soft (we had the soft white version). I did add candle lanterns on the tables to brighten up the space a bit, but these are not "bright". Buy more if you want bright, or use these as the always-on background for additional statement lighting.

Day 1 I put them outside in the sun. No lights tonight?
I will update this if it works. There is a round power button on the backside and on one of them I pressed it and then I didn’t know if I pressed it hard enough, So honestly, this point I don’t know if they’re turned on. Tomorrow I will leave them unraveled at the same location, and I will press the buttons on all of them And see if they work tomorrow. It would be nice if there was some kind of light that came on to let you know that you clicked the button correctly.7/22/24 UPDATE: OK, so yesterday I decided I was going to wrap the lights around this one butterfly bush, and tree that I have. So I got two of the set up so far and today I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck because keeping your arms above your head for a long period of time wrapping the tree plus I’m not used to being on a ladder anymore and crawling under bushes so it was a interesting project. But I was so excited when night time came in it got dark and I could see the lights. I thought one of the sets wasn’t working, but then it started working when it got darker. I still don’t understand why there’s on off button but you can’t tell when you press it if it doesn’t come on if you did it the right way LOL. But to Today or tomorrow, I will hang the other two sets And finally be done! I hope they last! I will update this if they don’t.

Love it
Love it! At first I was a little worried about how small everything was, but it turned out great. Annoying to unravel because I needed to start with the end closest to the solar powered part, then loop it around. Overall, it’s a great addition to my privacy planters! I used two sets on each planter. Will update after we get some weather.

Bummer
Well I wanted to love these.I fully understand that copper is easily broken. However, this is ridiculous. Two of the four sets I ordered snapped at the solar charger. So that was disappointing, to say the least. Also, the wire is wrapped around a cardboard so it doesn't tangle. But the end where the solar charger is, is not the end that you can unwrap first. You have to unwrap from the other end. However, I always first put the solar charger where I know the sun is best and then run the lights accordingly. So this meant I had to unwind the entire line and wrap it in the opposite direction. Allow me to tell you, it doesn't matter how OCD you are about this part, it will tangle and then make you perform yoga breathing to avoid just snapping the wire out of sheer frustration. So yeah. If they could make the wire a bit stronger so it doesn't snap and wrap the wire to be run from the side with the solar charger, this would be great.Otherwise the two strings that didn't break, seem to be operating as expected.

Small, but More Than Bright Enough for Atomoshere Lighting
Installed under top runners of my fence and they are exactly what I was looking for.

Solar Christmas lights that actually work great!
These are better than expected! Easy to string and they stay on all night. Very bright and the intensity is the same the next morning. They get plenty of sun, but not necessarily “direct” sun all day, especially this time of year. This product is well worth it, in fact I will buy more.
