Nicely packaged.

Essential eight paperback box set, including first published work "Call For The Dead," introducing protagonist British intelligence operator George Smiley who is mourning the departure of beautiful wife for another relationship. Meanwhile, the questionable suicide of a fellow agent. Fascinating twists-and-turns abound thereafter. Highly recommend.

Fan of LeCarre. Does not disappoint. Wish for larger type and darker impression on paper. Need my glasses.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this series as a gift for my other half. I when he got to Smileys people, he unfortunately couldn’t read it because there are dozens and dozens of blank pages scattered throughout the book without text. The books before this one in this box set were okay… but the printing error in this one make it unreadable.
