Is this an original that purple thang or copy cat?

I work for the company who manufactures That Purple Thang. This is a knock off. Little Foot Quilt Shoppe is the manufacture, please buy from this small business instead.

I have a 1/4" tube to turn. Will this work, or is it too wide?

It’s close but maybe just a hair too big. Honestly the thing is pretty great for so much and very cheaply priced. It might not be for this particular tube but it’s great for other things.for this maybe a metal clothes hanger with scotch tape around the tip. I did that before and it worked.

Can this be used as aLaying tool for needlepoint?

Dont know what aLaying tool is. The flat end could be used as a pressing tool like a wooden iron.

Does this thing have uses in knitting? (Other than threading I-cords and elastic)

Of course it could! Is there a better tool for weaving in ends? Standard yarn needles are a pain to thread and much thinner than you need if you're working with typical 3-4mm needles. This is much easier to thread and plenty thin enough for weaving in ends.
